A quality wood preserver.
I have used this before, and like to keep a spare can at hand for treating my various sheds and cabin. The colour is good and not too dark.

Amazing product!
Over the years I've been highly confused with all the various wood treatments, preserves, stains, paints etc and never managed to get it right, with wood ageing, wearing, rotting and just generally not being preserved well at all. Well this has ALL changed! This Barrettine wood preserve, combined with a top coat of the Barrettine Log Cabin Treatment had me wishing it would rain, so I could see how well it worked!!! And it didn't disappoint. The water just rolls into balls and off it (see picture). We have a log cabin coming, so I did a lot of research and then tested out the product on our picnic table and benches. Superb result. I did 3 coats of preserve and 1 top coat of log cabin treatment. We will be using this on ALL/ANY outside wood from now on. Truly great stuff!

Meant to be light brown, definitely not, came up very dark, but I’m sure it will preserve the wood.

The Quality of the product
This product was very easy to use, and the colour and richness is amazing. Some products we have used before have been very watery and you had to put two to three coats on to get any depth. This is also watery to pour but gives amazing coverage even after one coat. Would highly recommend it

Light brown - great colour
Great product, wasn’t too sure about which colour to order at first but delighted I went for the light brown. Brings my furniture back to it’s original colour!

Lovey natural finish but...,
Lovely to put on and lovely colour and finish. Looks natural and seeps into wood so no shiny/artificial finish like some products. Only reason I give it 4 stars is that it doesn’t seem to last more than a year or so. I need to keep re-applying to my wooden sleepers in the garden. Having said that, I still use the same product as I love the result.
