Terrible battery life & quite slow
This is a lousy camera. Minolta apparently cut many many corners to give it a low price. The battery life is terrible--it runs out after only a couple of dozen of pictures. I don't know how you're really supposed to record any videos. Worse, it takes a long time to charge. For the camera to be practical, you'd have to have several batteries on hand and constantly swap in charged ones. The camera is slow. On several occasions, it simply wouldn't do anything when I tried to take a picture. Eventually, I realized it was just very slow responding. Even simple things like changing the mode are slow--when I change the mode, then hit OK, I return to the main screen in the original mode first. Then, about a second later it changes to the new chosen mode.My Mac doesn't recognize the camera when it's plugged into a USB port. The Mac is older but it has no problem seeing my iPhone and my previous Nikon. The Zoom is just a digital zoom which is basically worthless. The buttons are hard to push. They need quite a bit of pressure to respond, which makes it hard to configure or even use the camera sometimes. The manual is missing steps, sometimes omitting that one has to push OK during a sequence of steps.Sometimes the battery door doesn't close tightly. You need to check it carefully every time you close it. I'd be very careful in water. This one is being returned.

Not your typical point and shoot.
I get it. Dual screen, large megapixel, lightweight all good ideas but the shutter button is really difficult to press. There is a delay from pressing the button and taking photos so if you need to time your shot it's not going to happen. Replay is slow and menu screen is difficult to navigate.

Great picture quality
The picture quality is great, but would be better if it had a flash and usb-c instead of micro. The chromed plastic makes it look and feel cheap.

Keep it Simple Minolta! Battery Pops Out, Won't Click In.
This camera will be returned which is a shame because Minolta had a nice camera I bought 6 years ago that was stolen. So I bought this MN60WP and here are the problems:1) Buttons hard to push and set.2) When taking a picture the sound volume is low even after adjusting it. No way of knowing if it clicked or not ? No way of choosing a sound effect like a bell or a dog barking to let you know a picture was taken.3) MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE RECHARGING OF THE BATTERY BY WAY OF THE MINI USB PLUG LOCATED INSIDE THE LATCH. THE BATTERY WON'T CLICK IN WHEN INSERTED, SO IT DOESN'T MAKE CONTACT TO THE METAL TABS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BATTERY THAT MAKES CONTACT TO THE CAMERA, IN TURN, CAN'T MAKE CONTACT TO THE USB TO RECHARGE. YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE BATTERY IN TO PREVENT IT FROM POPPING OUT! ****SORRY MINOLTA, THIS CAMERA THOUGH THE PRICE IS REASONABLE AND I WANTED SLOW MO, BUT THIS CAMERA IS A FAILURE.****

A camera with limited features and capabilities
I bought this camera and used it while visiting relatives overseas. It took clear pictures, but there were problems.1. The phone app could not connect with the camera. I chose the camera as my wi-fi network on my phone, and there was still no connection. I could not take advantage of tagging the location of my photos.2. The cover of the battery fell off many times. I had to put it back on each time I used it.3. It takes too long to charge the battery. It has to be charged overnight each day.4. The manual had little guidance on which features to change for specific conditions. It did not state adjustments when there is very little light or during sunsets.5. It is not ideal for direct bright light. Many times, my photos ended up being a photo of white light and the subject was wiped out in the image.6. The camera cannot be used in a moving vehicle. I saw a pretty house on the road and wanted to take its picture. It was blurry. This did not happen with my old camera. This camera is ideal for taking still pictures in sunny conditions and not much else.
