Hummustir Multi pack 7 ounce (Classic)

Originally, I used to buy this Classic product in the 12oz size at my local market. Then it was a flexible squeeze sani-pak of the beans, with the bean pack curled into a circle on top of the tahini, both inside a larger plastic container. This product is no longer available and has been replaced by these small plastic containers. Unfortunately the packaging is NOT the only thing that changed. The product changed also. The beans used to be just pureed beans, perhaps with a little water, so just plain unseasoned beans. The new product with the beans in a plastic cup, is beans loaded with baking soda, making the flavor just horrible. Adding the tahini mix does NOT rescue these horrible tasting baking soda beans. This product is inedible. The tahini mix in both renditions is not that great, but used sparingly it was OK. This product does not taste anything like hummus, and it is inedible regardless of what it is supposed to taste like. Expensive product for throwing away.

Freshly made its best. But when you can't, this is a great convenience. Tasty as is, really great if you add your own citrus, fresh herbs and spices. Given what is available as packaged food, this is as wholesome as it gets. I would prefer the least salts and citric acid[just think acid Will leach more plastic into food] added, as I prefer to add pickle juice,whey or yogurt for digestion. I don't recall much garlic taste, I add some fresh when in the mood.The only thing stopping me from buying it more often is that sometimes the price seems really high. You might find it at the grocery store better priced. I like to send it to those who can't cook much... But I wonder why the two parts are separated? It's easy enough to mix it up, but I would be happy to find it premixed.

Really liked this hummus! Definitely tastes fresh even though it doesn't need to be kept in the refrigerator. Lasts for a long time in the fridge once mixed, which is good, because I can't finish the whole thing in one sitting. I mostly use hummus as a spread on sandwiches and wraps instead of mayo or mustard and the texture of Hummustir works well for that. Not too thin but not too thick. Interested to try the other flavors!

I ordered a multi-pack and it arrived as described. Without having a 7oz cup in my hand I did not realize I was paying more for a smaller amount. My bad. I researched more today and realize I had been purchasing a 12oz package from store.If you are paying more than $3.50/12oz, (I paid over $4.00/7oz) you need to source elsewhere, especially when you are receiving "free shipping" as it seems free ship items are often only a few pennies less than the next lowest price option + shipping. It's curious how that seems to work.Hummus Stir is awesome, though. I have been looking for it everywhere and found it here. I will look for another source. The Village and Mediterranean are the best! Hummus - it's what's for dinner.

I love the the simple, real ingredients - best part, no oil! It is so hard to find a no oil hummus which makes this so awesome. This packing is less preferred to me tham the other setup I've previously purchased. The tahini is hard to blend back together with the natural oil separation that occurs. Both containers leave little room for stirring & end up having some spill on me every time. I'm having a really hard time blending them together so there's no chunks & having the flavor evenly distributed. The lid does not stay on either - doesn't seem to fit. The preferred packaging I previously had comes with a mini wooden spatula & tahini/beans are in foil packages. It allows you to easily mix before opening without spilling & less plastic. Either way the hummus is great & we love it!

The Hummus is flavorful (altho a bit salty for my taste). The packaging is superb, the tiny spoon in the lid is so convenient. If you are eating this on-the-go it can be a little messy to mix the tahini sauce with the chickpea mixture - so throw a few napkins into you bag. A good healthy product - no guilt. If you order a Salad, you can use it as a delicious healthy dressing. I will buy more!

Amazing product! Can last in the pantry for so long and once opened it is fresh, delicious and there are no preservatives! My 4 year old daughter loves it too!

So delicious, healthy, organic & convenient!! Can’t ask for more!!
