This is a pretty good product for easily forming uniform burger patties at home. It holds about 2 pounds of ground beef and forms them into 8 burger patties, so essentially each one is a quarter-pounder. The burger size is a little small around and thick, in my opinion, so I flatten them a little bit more before cooking, but that's a personal preference.I was hoping that this was something that could also be used for freezer storage. That is, make the burgers in this tray then pop the whole thing into the freezer for long-term storage. The problem is the top and bottom don't really seal and are kind of loose. It would work okay for short term freezer storage, a week or two, but longer than that and I think you'd wind up with freezer burn. If you would want to use this to make burgers and then freeze them for an extended period, you'd probably want to put them in a freezer bag or something else that's air-tight.Overall, though, it does do a good job of being a burger mold, which is useful to me as I always have a hard time forming patties that and uniform and don't fall apart while cooking, and this does a good job of doing just that.

I love this silicone burger press. I was worried about patties getting freezer burn, but has not been a problem as of this writing. I used to buy the big box store bag of patties with the papers in between that were still hard to separate. Not anymore. These easily pop out of the silicone tray and the tray stacks flat in the freezer. I plan to buy a second one for the big bbq's this summer.

Works great, spread your meat across the tray put the top on and you have 8 thick patties. I cook them in the airfryer for 12 minutes and they are perfect.

I’m returning this because it’s too small for regular burgers. It’s good for smaller burgers but states that two pounds of meat can be used to make quarter pound burgers, doesn’t appear that it’s possible. Returning!

This is a great way to make formed burgers to store in the freezer.I was hoping it would have had a temp marker on it letting me know if it could also go in the oven.That's what I wanted to do was form them then back it like my other silicone molds. This had no markings like my other ones do with a temp range.I would say the burgers if filled are a little thick for my liking so I just press them down and not over fill.
