I have learned the hard way that not all RJ45 crimpers are created equal. Regardless of price, some are good and some are bad in that they do not push the metal blades inside RJ45 down farther enough to make reliable electrical connection. Prior to purchasing this crimper, I had gone through a few crimpers.So, I asked a few questions and the seller immediately posted answers. And, I was convinced that this crimper would be a good one to try. I purchased it and used it for the first time yesterday to crimp RJ45 with CAT7 cable. After the crimp, I carefully examined whether or not the metal blades in RJ45 had penetrated the wires sufficiently. And, I was pleased that the crimper did an excellent job in doing so.This was a good purchase to me and the money well spent on the tool that gets the job done.

Works great. I have only used a couple times, but it crimped perfectly each time. Very pleased! The tool is sturdy and should last me forever.

Bought these after a long day of trying to line up tiny wires in the cold and discovered i made another bad end. Pass through gets it right every time. Should have bought these first.
