Okay let’s start this off by saying I took it out of the box and it felt really cheap and I knew it wasn’t going to be great but At least work but no. The first issue was I was riding along and one of the arms on the inside got bent and jammed behind its self. Straightened it out and put it back together worked for one pull and the nub that the spring holds on to snaps so the cord never goes back in. Fine. Drilled a hole and put a screw where that was and it worked till I tore the pull cord. Replaced it 3 times ripped all 3 times. The on the last time I took it back apart and the spring shot out. Don’t buy this.

Good quality alloy piece. No cheap plastic here. Easy, direct bolt-on, install. Functions smooth and trouble free so far. (about 3 weeks used 2-4 times daily)

This is total trash. The pull cord falls out of it more often than it retracts, and the poor machine working it has destroyed my CDI module and everything the only reason I'm not returning this is I want the satisfaction of busting it into little bitty pieces it cost me much more to repair the damage this product did then it would to use the product worst 15 $16 I ever spent in my life.if you order this product you may as well order a magneto and a coil and CDI assembly as well trust me do not buy this product it only has one star because they won't let me give it none

This item will allow the engine start easier prior to break in of the motor. After break in you can start the motor by pedaling.

Install easily worked good for about six days string didn’t break the plastic that the strings hooked to dead not made very well have to restring I would suggest if buying this replace the string and the plastic pool as they are not made very well

Believe the reviews. It WILL break. If you do get this do yourself a favor and take it apart - replace the handle and the string with anything other than what they use cause...damn that is the worst quality handle and string they could probably get their hands on.

Pullstart rope broke after a few pulls but was retired and has not broke again. Bronze bushing guide for the pull rope came out but was glued in and do far all is good. Works great!

It was a piece of s*** I started my bike twice the third time it broke in pieces and put metal shavings all over my electrical box I'm pissed that I even bought it

i used it on my motorized bike but it only lasted for one week the pin broke

the spring inside that rotate back the rope collapse. I had to turn back manually in order to fix so be careful when pulling. dont pull it in full length. The rope looks like will not gonna last that long. So far it works.

Poor quality materials. Third pull on it the string broke. 6th pull the butterflies broke as well as the spring holder for the retract band.
