I like this Simmons mattress. I had Simmons Beauty Rest for years and I found it was one of the best mattresses out there. It’s not a Simmons Beauty Rest but Simmons name just speaks for itself.

We purchased this mattress several years ago when we moved across country for our guest room. At that time this bed had zero odor, was very comfortable and we felt it was worth the money. Our guests loved the comfort.After moving back home (sold other mattress) we repurchased this bed for our guest room again. We felt the extra price compared to most 10” memory foam mattresses was well worth it due to positive experience prior.We are fairly disappointed this time. The off gassing of this bed is INSANE. It’s been unpacked and in the guest room for many weeks uncovered and we still smell it. Thankfully, the odor is only noticeable in the bedroom, where for 2 straight weeks our entire house smelled. My family is coming for Thanksgiving and I’m dreading what the fumes are going to be like with body heat on the bed.I have reached out to seller and was reassured that the certipur memory foam has not changed and that the odor is not toxic. I find that hard to believe given the very strong chemical odor this mattress off gasses.I will update on comfort after my sister and hubby sleep on it over holidays. I will also honestly report on continuing off gassing and my families reaction.

Just the right amount of plush. The cover is fun and it expanded quickly.
