Quality, quality, quality. Bright, bright, bright.
This SOB is one BRIGHT flashlight. It is possible you would get in trouble with the police if it were any brighter. You might get your ass run over if your light reaches opposing traffic eyes.90 day follow up ! ! ! The light stopped working today. 11/19/2015. The problem appears to be in the switch. I have e-mailed the vendor. I am awaiting their response. I am suspending my 5 star rating unless this vendor stands behind this product. If the light is replaced, I will return my 5 stars. When the light works it is the best. Less than 90 days before it fails ........ is junk.

The elastic allows for easy removal of the light for recharging or even as ...
I can't say enough about this light. I spent a couple months contemplating a new headlight. I wanted a bright light. I ride in the city often at rush hour as the sky goes from sunset to darkness. I want to be seen. I wanted a rechargeable. I ride 18 miles a day and batteries are expensive. I wanted durable. Accidents do happen and I didn't want something that would break the bank every time it is replaced. This light is all this and more. It is basically a mini-mag light. Much more durable though. The light is secured to the bracket with a rubber elastic and the bracket is secured to the handlebar with another elastic. The elastic allows for easy removal of the light for recharging or even as a flashlight. The bracket also allows you to rotate your light left and right. Tonight a rode home in the rain with the light set on high and blinking. The rode lit up every road reflector in sight creating a runway effect and illuminated every road sign as well. When using the high constant beam it switched to blinking when the power reached a certain level. I reset the high and it lasted awhile longer before blinking again and I drained the battery. About an hour 45 minutes on high and three hours blinking roughly. I am so happy with this purchase. It will light up your night and still fit in your pocket.

Its a Great light; lousy instructions
Like others who've shared their experience, the 930Z is powerful lite and mounts easily... if you have the correct diameter handlebar...If you don't, then - not to worry - Cyclebeam included larger rubber bands that should stretch enough to accommodate the larger diameters. However, the paucity of instructions frustrates you as you have no idea how to safely install the larger rubber band. The support site for Cyclebeam shows you how to mount the lite. Honestly, if you can't figure that out, you need training wheels and should not be riding at night.Another beef is the battery. It doesn't look like the batteries we use in our household items - in that there is no raised 'nipple' on one end to identify as the "+" end. Also, you have to look closely to see the "-" sign on the battery and the labels in the battery housing.

Great light, crappy mount.
The reason I'm not giving a five star rating is because of the mount. I've seen other people say that it's okay for a road bike, but I ride a full suspension mountain bike on the pavement and I had to constantly adjust the light after every bump or curb.I use two automotive hose clamps that I wrapped in black electrical tape. Also, there's some gap between where the light bezel attaches to the battery tube and although it is secure, it rattles and probably leaks. I put a piece of road bike inner tube around it, before clamping it into place with the tape wrapped hose clamps. As I have it attached is very secure, even for off pavement riding. The light itself is absolutely fantastic. I ride 0'dark thirty every morning and have an hour of darkness in summer, will be two hours of dark in the winter. I run at the low 100 lumen setting and it's all the light I need. besides the adjustable hot spot, there's enough unfocused light that I can see everything in my path.I carry a $100 light on my belt that claims to be just 600 lumens and it's easily as bright as the the claimed 930 lumens, so I'm going to say that 930 lumens is an exaggerated claim. Never the less, as a bike light, it's working very well for me. I only charge the battery once a week and I've not let it go to the point where it dimmed or showed low.I do really like that the light remembers the previous setting, unlike my $100 light I carry on my belt. Two stainless steel hose clamps and a roll of electrical tape cost less than $5.Except for the weak mounting system, it's an exceptional bike headlight.

I keep buying these.... (but now I'll stop.)
I've bought three of these so far because for the size they are really bright! My only caveats (but not enough to lose a star) are that: 1) They get pretty warm while running and 2) I find the soft press to switch between modes to be a bit hard to get right.Update:I won't buy any more. The most recent one had a problem with the on/off button and Cyclebeam refuses to even respond to my requests for assistance. I've got an open ticket with them that I've retried 3 times but they have yet to have a human interact after nearly a month.
