These HDMI extenders did exactly what i needed. I was after a solution to get my Virgin Media tv projected from my projector in a different room in the house. It works an absolute treat.The picture quality is unhindered, the connectivity is generally good and when it does drop the cables automatically switch wi-fi channels to find a better connection without any human intervention.Setting them up was as easy as plug in and play so the ease of set up was perfect. They come with a sturdy case to store them in if you need to transport them and for the price you pay this is excellent value for money

These devices are plug-and-play, no installation or configuration needed. Simply plug the transmitter in to the Output HDMI of a device, then plug the receiver into the Input of another HDMI device. It takes far less than a minute for them to automatically pair and start broadcasting over Wi-Fi.I am using them to wirelessly take the HDMI video output of one laptop and receive it using an HDMI capture card on another laptop for streaming and recording. The Output unit is also plugged in to an HDMI splitter which also feeds a projector and works without any issues in this configuration.They work seamlessly, with high quality video transfer, no lag and no drop outs.The only need USB power, which can be from the laptop or device you have it connected to, or use an external mains USB power device.Brilliant units that have simplified the remote connection of two devices, no more trailing wires!

This Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is so easy to set up and gets the job done without you having any real techie knowledge. Jus follow the simple instructions and you should be up and running in no time.I wanted to stream the picture from my PC to my TV that were in different rooms as I just wanted to watch something on You Tube on a bigger screen. I simply plugged the Transmit (Tx) dongle into a HDMI port on my PC, and the USB port associated with it I plugged into a spare USB port on my PC to give the dongle power. At the TV end I plugged the Receive (Rx) dongle into a spare HDMI port on my TV, which in my case was HDMI 2, and again the associated USB cable with it I plugged into a USB port on the TV to give this side power. That was literally all I done. I looked at the screen and realised there was no picture because I hadn't change the input source on my TV to HDMI 2. As soon as I did that everything kicked into life and I could see my PC screen on the TVOnce I had plugged in the HDMI and USB for power, for the transmitter and the receiver, it sync'ed up automatically without any fiddling, which was great. In terms of picture quality, it streamed in clear 1080p with almost no delay.For me this Wireless HDMI extender has been a god send, and a prime example of how true plug and play technology should work - which was without any real input from me. It’s easy enough for anyone to get going quickly without any software to download or settings to fiddle with, it really was a joy to see it work first time like that as normally you'd expect to mess around with settings for a while before getting it working.

Did job but need to reset ever so often
