Dog loves the lizard and the flamingo
My German Shephard Mallinois mix pup loves the fire hose toys. They are strong but she kills the squeakers pretty quickly. Sometimes they are silent after the second day and some don’t make it beyond the hour. That said the dog just loves these toys. I usually buy about 4 -5 per year. The flamingo seems tougher but I think she loves the EXOTIC lizard the best. She killed one squeaker the first day but the other four are still alive and squeeking. One drawback that I do not like is the paint on the lizard peels off. It must be a latex type compound as it has some elasticity to it.I will buy more due to the fact they make her so happy.

Strongest chew toy thus far
We recently acquired a new, large black mouth cur puppy. We've never experienced a dog like this. He eats anything (swallows whole socks) and chews everything to bits. We needed something that could take a beating and that he wouldn't swallow. We have ordered about 5 of these so far. We cut the little legs off (or he eats those) because that part is not made of fire hose. They are super tough and last about a month before he is able to chew through to a squeaker. Then we replace it. We've gone through about 6. This dragon toy has lasted longer than anything else we have tried so far. It's great for tug of war and he seems to really enjoy them.

Tuff, but not Tuff-e-Nuff.
Holds up better than any other thing they've had, but in the end, it too is no match for a pitbull... or two.

my dog destroys everything
as I stated buddy my dog whose name for himself is Karnath the destroyer..lol he absolutely destroys toys in mins. I still buy them because your dog is only with you for so long and they love you the whole time. now I've bought Kong toys that lasted a couple of hours even the red ball maybe a day or so its in pieces I left a review on a squirrel tree toy 20 mins after opening with pics it was a mountain of fluff.. now this is day 9 the toy has lost the lil arms but it's still intact the squeakers which he goes for relentlessly are still there all 3 the main body is almost indestructible so far I deff will buy again but I'm going to have to satisfy my dog's cravings and get 1 he can shred lol this is a toy which if your dog kills toys will last awhile it was worth the 10 bucks and it's still holding up to Karnath. I recommend buying this toy.

My Rottie’s favorite toy by far
I don’t know what it is about this toy, but my Rottie is obsessed with it! Which works for me because it’s also very durable, colorful and fun to play with. He brings it to bed with him every night and if he happens to forget it, he has to rush downstairs to get it! The squeaker is fairly quiet and low toned so it doesn’t keep us awake. All his other toys are so jealous!

Meant to be destroyed by active Pyredane puppy
I struggled with a review for this item, but ended up giving 4 stars for serving its intended purpose very well: Keeping my power chewer, insanely destructive, 8-month old Great Dane x Great Pyrenees (Pyredane) puppy from chewing up everything in the vicinity. The photos are noteworthy as much for what WAS destroyed (the $10-$15 Fire biters toy) as what WAS NOT destroyed (her $30 dog bed, the $10 area rug, the $15 worth of blankets, my new $70 Hey Dudes shoes). Estimated value of protection from Puppy Mayhem: $115 (subtracted $10 for cost of toy). Estimated value of 15+ hours of extra sleep I’ve gotten each morning: Priceless.Poor Mr. Flamingo has been in service for about 10 days, and he’s not looking good to last much longer. Chew proof? No, not really. Other reviewers are accurately reporting that this toy suffers significant abuse almost immediately. Durable? Nope. Messy? Yep. Entertaining? YES.Lucky Penny has had a higher level of engagement with this Fire biters Flamingo than anything else in my massive arsenal of treats and toys. Beef cheek rolls and thickly braided bully sticks can entertain her for maybe a few hours, a high quality Yak Milk cheese stick will last for maybe a week of off-and-on chewing. All of these items are comparable in price to the Fire biters toys, but do not provide anywhere near the hours of enjoyment for my pup. And yes, the surgically removed squeakers still work! Maybe I should have given it 5 stars after all….

Not indestructible
Our 14 month old south African Boerboel loves the firehose toys and they do stand up better than other toys but are not indestructible. The squeakers are also easily destroyed, do not work after being punctured. She has gotten 2 squeakers out already and hasn't had it for long. This is the 3rd time I gave it to her. I also had to take the eyes off as they were peeling off/ I don't want her to ingest them. 3 stars because she does truly enjoy taking the firehose toys apart and it does take longer than other "indestructible" toys. Also once she gets the squeakers out she will still play with the hose.

Not as durable as its made out to be
My 1 year old Lab retriever shredded most of it within 5 minutes of it arriving. I had high hopes that this would be the toy that lasted a bit longer than the others.

Its ok
The order arrived earlier then estimated delivery time which is a great bonus. Dimensions were mentioned on the product description but Just to let you know that it is a big toy, it might be too big for a small breed dog. This is a chew durable toy however the yellow prints on the toy peals off easily. Fabric is not dense enough and the weave seems slightly loose, any dog can tuck the teeth in to it.My dog already pealed most of the print and managed to chew the legs and edges of the lizard.if your god likes shewing its toys i believe this product may not be suitable.

Strong enough for our puppy.

My pup’s tougher
We’ll I thought being of firehose it would hold up. But after only having it 5 hours it could not withstand my pups force! It didn’t take him long to tear the seam.

Destroyed in 8 hours
We loved the idea of this toy but the reality didn’t live up. Within ten minutes my Lab had started ripping off the feet, but I sort of expected that based on the other reviews and just cut them off. He played with it off and on over the day and loved the squeakers - and then right before dinner he started chewing on the end and within five minutes, this picture was the result. Of course no toy is indestructible but given that this is specifically marketed as being durable I was quite disappointed. If your dog is a fairly light chewer this might hold up but I wouldn’t get it otherwise.
