I bought this remote because it was the exact one it came with. I was right! At first it was not working properly because it would skip letters or options. After some research I learned you have to pair the remote to your tv so it can work properly. That is not explained. To PAIR it, the TV must be on, once it’s one press the return button at the same time press the play/pause button, for at least 5 seconds or until the device is found and paring begins. First you’ll see it will search for a device and then pair. You know when it’s completed it’s pairing when you see the battery signal pop up on your screen.Hope this helps others who are having the same issue. The media could not be loaded.  Just recently got myself a Samsung OLED TV and although a lot of people complain about the remotes for the newer Samsung TVs, I don't mind it at all. With that, I was looking to grab a backup remote that is more or less exactly the same as the one that comes with the TV. This is perfect. It looks great, feels great, is easy to pair, it works perfectly with my Samsung TV It didn’t come with AAA batteries (but not a big deal to me), but once I out them in, it connected to our TV right away. Press and hold the Back/Exit and Play/Pause buttons at the same time for 5-8 seconds, it did come with instructions for troubleshooting if it doesn’t connect. The functionality works exactly the same as our existing remote and the buttons are exactly the same. I went through and tried all buttons, all of them work the same. Our original remote also still works now that we’ve connected this new one. Really, really excited to have an additional remote for our TV.

I took a punt on this as a replacement for the BN59-01391A remote that came with our Frame TV. While this remote is not spec'd as a replacement for the BN59-01391A it works just fine with our Frame (model QN55LS03BAFXZA). Very happy to get a working Bluetooth remote for less than 1/4 of the cost Samsung charges.Day 3 Review:So far very happy although it is only a few days since getting the remote. Like many folks our Samsung remote's Bluetooth module kept failing and I had enough of ordering the more expensive OEM remotes from Samsung only for them to fail as well. You can't tell the difference in quality between this and the OEM remotes, although it is battery powered and not solar. Not a deal breaker for us though. Especially at 1/4 the cost of the Samsung branded remote. Some folks left reviews mentioning that some of their buttons did not work. This isn't the case for us. Everything on the remote works just fine so far.

Our new remote worked immediately without a lot of futzing around. I like this remote because the roller ball clicks and therefore works far better than the original. The fast forward requires many clicks and is frustrating. Self lighting would help a lot.

It stop working properly after using it for a few hours. Not easy to explain, but the buttons essentially lose their intended role and the remote goes whacky. When you press the volume up it races to full volume and back down to zero without control. It changes channel by itself, the remote basically loses all intended function. What a rip-off and I bought two of them.

Looks great but it only work 60% of the time and if the kids toss it onto the couch it cranks the volume all the way up on the tv, you can’t stop it from happening and it doesn’t matter what the last button pushed was.The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. Great customer service
