I would like to start this review by stating that TALK WORKS makes a quality product. There’s absolutely no mistaking that. The 2 USB-C cables that I ordered from them are solidly made, flexible, look great (the gold colored cords go nicely with a few of my favorite controllers) but… they fall short in one small, but important area - length.To be fair, it clearly states that each cable is 6ft long and it is. I can’t be overly critical of something that’s clearly stated on the website and the packaging itself. However, if I may give a bit of advice, please make these wonderful cables just a tad longer. If they were, let’s say, 10-12ft they’d be absolutely perfect! Still, at 6ft, they’re still top notch cables that are made with quality materials.The cords are braided so they won’t rip easily. The USB and C connectors are made of solid materials and the gold colored cords are a bit on the thinner side, but I find that thinner braided cords are much easier to work with as you move your system and controllers around during and after gameplay.These are fantastic USB-C cords that can be used not only for your Xbox Series X/S controllers, but for just about anything needing a USB-C cord to charge or power a device! I’ve used these cords on my Xbox, the Nintendo Switch, PS5, my IPad Air (5th generation) and other wireless headsets that needed a charge! To say these are simply for charging an Xbox Series X/S controller would be selling the product short. They’re incredibly useful for many USB-C driven devices. Just check to make sure that the voltage works with each item you’re planning on using the cords with to be on the safe side. I have yet to run into ANY issues using these wonderfully made cords!Do i recommend them? Absolutely! However, keep in mind that 6ft isn’t as long as you think. As a standard going forward I’m going to use cords 10ft and up just to give myself a bit more wiggle room. But, if you’re using these cords in a dedicated space, (like an office cubicle or bedroom) they would be more than serviceable!If only they were a few feet longer… Still, the team at TALK WORKS have set a fine standard with these beauties!5 out of 5

Simple USB-A to USB-C braided cables with quality connectors. They work great and are a great price.

These braided long cables had held up well over the past two months of extensive use. If my 10 yo can't break it in two months then it passes my quality test.

I selected these cables mainly to be able to charge USB C devices. I tested the cable with an iPad Air, an Amazon Fire Tablet, and a Samsung Android Phone. They all charged without issue, including supporting fast charging on the devices that support it. I also tested the cable by connecting the devices to the docking station of my laptop to ensure that the device could be seen and confirmed that they could be seen by the laptop.I can't comment on the long-term durability of the cables (this is where cheap cables fail really fast) since I have only had them for a few weeks, but if they fail in the near future, I will make sure to update my review.
