Good Time [DVD]

Good Film.
I hadn't even heard of this film until the other day when a YouTube movie reviewer mentioned it on a list of A24 films that he likes. I thought I'd give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty entertaining and funny in a few places. Pattinson is good in the role, probably my favourite role I've seen him in actually.I loved the synth soundtrack, I noticed some reviewers complaining about it but I thought it worked.

Unexpected
Hadn't heard of this until I read an article about Robert Pattinson's unusual film choices, so an unexpected but very good film, enjoyed it. It's quite dark in appearance and subject matter, but also has humour.

movie sound track is perfect the cinematography is mediocre
I think it's not the product problem.it's such a low budget film that sometimes the focus is out when there is handheld shots following the actors.Very annoying.I think they did not even had time to shoot one more time. The lighing is always not enough so it is not like Academy cinematography worth movie. But the plot and the movie is amazing. And if you want to buy it buy bluray.DVD will be worse, I can tell.

Robert Paterson and the Safdie brothers in top form.
Robert Paterson and the Safdie brothers in top form. Excellently shot, and paced, beautifully lit and well acted. Sits perfectly within the A24 universe.

Amazing. gruelling, crazy touching film. We've all had a night like this haven't we? No?
An absolute masterpiece, insane and breathtaking, almost feels like real time. Very poignant in places too. Made me cry at the end, 'cross the room if......'

Poor Time
Robert Pattinson is barely recongisable from his 'Twilight' days. He plays a loser struggling to get by with his mentally challenged brother. Out of desperation, they rob a bank and Pattinson's sibling ends up getting caught and then beaten up in prison. He is then transferred to hospital under armed guard and Pattinson tries to smuggle him out as he can't afford the bail/bond money. Due to the bandages wrapped around the injured man's face, Pattinson ends up taking someone else and not his brother from the hospital. From then on, you guessed it, it goes from bad to worse.

What a film.
Any doubters of Rpatz Dark Knight credentials should start here and work on his other excellent non-sparkly-vampire fodder. What a film this is. And what a star.
