Galvanised Dee Shackle D Shackles 3/8" 4 x 10mm

I founded these Shackles to be of such poor quality manufacturer that I did not feel safe to put them into use, basically they were not fit for purpose. If you value others peoples safety and whatever you might intend to attach these items too them simply go to a shop in person to actually see what you are buying. These items weren't expensive but the photo's shown do not represent the shackles your likely to receive which in my case were of very poor quality. Daniel the Handy straps Director agreed that quality varied between his supplies but failed to offer a reasonable alternative as return postage cost nearly as much as the original purchase - at the buyers cost of course. I was trying to save time but in future would think it best to buy items such as these from a shop where they can be inspected before purchase. I would hate to think of the carnage these item's could cause if they did fly off a boat trailer... etc at 60mph to any unsuspecting bystander's, motorcyclist's and or property.

Due to an error in the specification of the size of dee shackles, the wrong size was dispatched, the item dispatched was of good quality and a great price but unfortunately the wrong size I.E. 4 x 10 mm, the item required is 4 mm pin size x 4 off in number . The error in ordering was in size quoted. The cost of returning the items may exceed the value of the dee shackles in which case, I will keep the items and pay for them and hopefully order/obtained the correct size dee shackles I.E. 4 mm pin size from the supplier

Excellent D shackles, just remember these are not for lifting as they haven't been tested & certified as such... Recommend
