The only thing I disliked about this book was that it had to end and that that there isn't another one to read yet....
The only thing I disliked about this book was that it had to end and that that there isn't another one to read yet.... I LOVED,LOVED LOVED Harper and Knox!!! I'd love to be more like Harper in the sense of being comfortable in my own skin, happy w/who and am and who I'm not and on working towards who I wanna be,not sweating the details and only truly caring about the opinions I know truly matter, those of the ppl who I know love me and have only my best interest at heart.... Not letting ever little thing get to me,as it ALL TO OFTEN does at the moment... And Knox.... Knox, well I'd love to climb all over him and then some ;)I wasn't sure writing my review on the last book if a could handle an Uber Alpha male like him but to me it honestly felt like he'd mellowed a bit from how we 1st met him and if offered I'd love to give him a try 😘😍😘😍😘😍😘😍I love how loving and caring and protective Know is and how no matter how much it might go against his own grain at times he fights hard to give her what ever she's needs, openness, complete honesty, freedom to be herself ,which is and isn't difficult for him, difficult if it place her in danger, like say bull riding at a rodeo ;) but her version of bedazzling her close and even his in revenge because he LOVES Harper for who she is.... And Damn if that isn't what we all need,to know we are loved for who we are and are seen as a precious gift and Knox certainly does that...Only thing is in my w/Knox there's one fantasy I COULD NOT live out ;) I couldn't have my M/F/M menage fantasy where I'm the F and all the romantic and sexual interest centers on me because Knox doesn't share any better than I do,which it to say NOT AT ALL ;) but w/Knox I'm not even sure if I could handle another man ? Could you ? The words " all consuming" feel like that fit him completely ;) maybe if I could have him I'd just give him a 2nd cock ;) LOL ;) Hey! I'm greedy and dreaming of having Knox has me a little giddy and silly I guess...Ok,back to the story... For me Knox and Harper ( not Know like spell check wants) are my perfect couple, strong and interesting, open and honest w/nary a dull moment in between, loving and protective ,you wanna have him and be her and thought it could do w/out some of the danger if it were me I loved every moment of the story .... Except the kidnapping but I ALWAYS Hate that when it happens in a story....Only thing that got me was we never really figured out who was behind all the rumors did we ? Or if Alethea ( I think that was how her name was spelled) or as Harper called her "the Dolphin" was involved in the plot but another day another book... I wish I knew when the next one was... I love it when you find a book you dread reading only because you DON'T WANT TO SEE IT END!!!I soo loved seeing Tanner and Devon together and Khloë and Keenan ,I'd love more that and I think they'd make some interesting couples ;)Thank you!! Thank you Ms.Wright !!! I had a Hell of a good time 😍😘😍😘😍😘

I just love Harper and Knox!
I got an ARC from the writer in exchange for a honest review.‘Burn’ is one of my favorite books that I discovered this year so I was really looking forward to the second book of this series ‘Blaze’ so you can image my surprise and my excitement when I receive an ARC from the writer at the RARE16 in Edinburgh!! This made me so happy!!Like I said before, ‘Blaze’ is the second story in the ‘Dark in you’ series and it continues with the story of Harper and Knox. I would really recommend that you read the first book ‘Burn’ in this series before you read this one.Harper is slowly adjusting to her new life as mate and anchor of the powerful demon Knox. Luckily, she has still her job as a tattooist and her friends and family around her to help her adjust to her new life as co-prime of a big lair. After years of being very independent and making her own decisions it’s sometimes very hard for Harper to ask for help, especially from her very controlling, possessive mate Knox but like in every relationship you have to give and take. Knox and Harper are learning this in this story, when to give each other the space to be alone and when to take control. Especially Knox finds this hard to do but he loves Harper very much and he nor his demon want to lose her. But the fact that there’s a near-rogue demon on the loose, doesn’t help this situation very much and when it becomes obvious that the near-rogue demon wants Knox dead, it makes Knox and his demon very protective of Harper. Because being his mate makes Harper very valuable for his enemies. So Knox and his demon want nothing more than to protect Harper from any harm.Meanwhile, Harper has to organize an elegant and important party for Knox and if that isn’t stressful enough for Harper, she also has to deal with some of Knox’s ‘ex-lovers’ and their jealousy. A woman can only handle so much before she let her demon lose! But whatever happens, one thing is for sure, Knox and Harper are meant to be together and they both know this. After enjoying Burn so much, I was a little apprehensive of reading Blaze but I enjoyed it just as much, if not more! This series has the perfect balance for me, a little bit of suspense, hot love scenes, an alpha man/demon but never too dominant, a feisty woman/demon but also never too much. One of the things that I find very interesting about this series is the duality of the human side and the demon side. Both have different personalities, a fact that makes this series very fascinating.I really love Harper and Knox as a couple. Harper is the perfect mate for Knox, she’s a little bit crazy and unpredictable but she also has a very soft heart. Her family, the imps and her friends make me laugh and I would love to have a girl’s night out with Harper and her friends. The interaction between Harper’s friends and Knox’s sentinels is one of the fun things in this series and I hope that one day Suzanne Wright will write their stories too. I would love for a few of them to become a couple. I’m sure that I would love their stories too!I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

Such A great Series.
This second book in the series again focuses on Harper and Knox and in this instalment we have a demon on the edge of going rogue and he's fixated on taking Knox and Harper down however he can.He wrongly believes that they will have a child together with the capability and potential to annihilate the world. But this demon is himself a tool for others dark agendas and the ultimate goal here is to take Harper out which in turn will hopefully weaken Knox's control.Knox will stop at nothing to protect his mate and nobody targets her without suffering his and his demons wrath. This was again action-packed throughout and choked full of sexy antics. The chemistry between these two anchors and mates is off the charts and sets the pages alight with its intensity.Knox is his full-on dominant self both in and out of the bedroom especially when it comes down to Harper's safety and Harper herself shows her teeth here and bites back somewhat much to Knox and his demons dismay, her antics threating his iron-clad control. One thing that did bother me slightly and I did notice this as well in the first book was that I wasn't a fan of the constant former and wannabe bed-buddies that kept rearing there heads.Though I have to say Knox himself is completely steadfast and loyal when it comes to Harper and that I did like I was just sick of seeing her constantly have her nose rubbed in it and would have liked her to catch a break.Though I must say I did chuckle at all the turtle references and the bestiality insinuations that Harper threw Knox's way, highly amusing. Also totally loving ole Lou and hoping we get to see more of him he was fantastically weird and random.I also thought that there were times that Harper could have let Knox stand up for her and it wouldn't have affected her position really, at times she could be too single-minded about going it alone.I am interested in seeing where this is going and also unmasking the identities of the other horsemen.

Loved it!
Harper and Knox’s story continues. Anchored together and mated, Harper now finds herself as co-Prime of the most powerful lair in the States. One of her current duties is to help plan a public celebration in the Underground, to celebrate not only the Undergrounds 150th Anniversary, but also her mating to Knox. In order to pull off the party, Harper is going to need a little help in the form of a party planner and it’s a toss up to see who annoys who the most. Along with the good comes bad though, a member of the lair is near rogue and has gone AWOL. This disturbed demon also seems to want Knox dead, as he believes Knox will father a child with Harper, one that will destroy the world. Is he crazy? Read and see.For a demon who didn’t want power, Harper sure wields a lot of it now. Not that you’d know that with how she behaves. Harper isn’t like the other Primes. She has absolutely no desire to be anything or anyone other than who she is, she doesn’t care for power, public opinion or anything else. Harper is happy being Harper and I think this is one of her most admirable qualities. It doesn’t seem to matter what people think of her or how they try to put her down, she’s able to just brush it off and keep going. Seeing as how she doesn’t play up her position or power, people continually underestimate her and it’s always fun watching them realise that she’s more than she seems. Knox adores Harper for who she is, but it’s clear in this novel that he’s struggling to deal with her. The poor guy is lucky to have Levi to advise him when needed and luckier still that he’s not so arrogant that he can’t admit when he’s wrong. Personally I think that makes this very sexy, dominating character all the more attractive.I love Suzanne’s books, so know that no matter what comes next, it will be worth reading. I can’t wait to see what happens in book three, Ashes, next year.Quote:Devon sighed at the spectacle. “You know… I sometimes look at how well organised, precise, and fearless Khloe can be and think ‘Wow, she’d make an excellent general.’ But then I remember that it would only be a matter of time before she’d be shot by her own troops.”It was sad because it was true.Suggested Audience: Adult readers of Paranormal RomanceProfanity: FrequentSexual content: Frequent and explicitViolence: Frequent and severeCautionary element(s): Attempted rape in first chapter. Kidnapping and torture.

Love it!
Again another great read! Lots going on in this for Harper who now knows that her demon Knox is a Archdemon born from the fires of hell. Their relationship is very hot and have to learn how to deal with their Demons possessiveness of each other! And Harper now has wings !! ( Whoop )Knox and Harper still have to deal with other Demons and Ex's that are not too happy or jealous about them being Anchors and Mates and there is still someone out there trying to figure out what kind of demon Knox is which makes it perilous for them both!

Even better than Burn. How did she do that??
I've been a fan of Suzanne Wright more or less since she released her first e-book and would give everything she's written 5 stars. This series is possibly my favourite though. The sheer fun of drunken demons at the end of an evening out ......... the quirkiness yet lovability of the characters ........ the way the story is told through dialogue so the reader feels they're living in the same world ......... the fact that the author writes well .......It's all a bit reminiscent of Shelly Laurenston/G.A. Aiken, who's probably my all-time favourite author. I just wish Ms Wright could write a bit faster so we could look forward to the next episode in this series. I, like many others, can't wait.

Funny & witty paranormal romance, totally rocks!!!
This is book 2 in this series, book 1 is Burn. This book revisits the main hero & heroine (Harper & Knox)from the first book.it is a new storyline but i would recommend the first book be read first. The story is well paced & still as fresh & exciting as the first book, even though it is about the same characters.it will appeal to many paranormal romance readers.the best part for me however is the wit & humour throughout!! Fans of authors like Shelly Laurenston will probably enjoy this author.I have nothing negative to say about the story (may have teeny tiny bit of editing issues, but didnt effect the story in any way)5 stars *****Highly recommended
