Clearing up my acne
I love this product! It is helping to clear up my acne. My complexion is looking so much better. People ask me what I use as my skin is glowing. The aloe and chamomile is soothing my skin and my pimples are going away! Most of all it doesn't dry out my skin. The scent is light and clean. This item I guess has become popular as it is selling out fast. It's so popular now that it's sold out on the actual Neutrogena site and very hard to find on Amazon and when you do find it the price is very much higher. But the product is great and works! This is my new go too! I'm glad my Fiancé recommended this product to me as he uses it too.

Miraculous - for me
NOTE: This product is not a magic pill. If you suffer from severe psoriasis, only a licensed dermatologist can diagnose and treat your specific condition. Don't expect one product to cure all your problems! Experiment until you find the right one.For me, this is it. I had been using the original Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, and careful application all but cured my facial acne. However, the original formula left my skin feeling dry and noticeably red and flaky, even after moisturizing. I could feel a mild burning and tingling sensation when applying it and would hurry to rinse it off immediately. With the soothing facial cleanser, all that has gone away - no acne, and without the side effects. My skin looks clear and healthy. Best of both worlds! For best results, take half a pump in your hands while in the shower or at the sink. Get your (CLEAN!) hands wet and lather up until you have a handful of foam, then spread the foamy face wash in the problem area. Immediately rinse off as fast as you put it on. You might need to follow up with a facial moisturizer. No cracking, flaking, or redness, and best of all no acne!

Works well and smells pleasant
My skin is always changing and sometimes I need a little extra kick to to subdue the overproduction of oil and/or the appearance of blackheads. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne face washes do just that for me. Salicylic acid is the active ingredient at 2% strength, so most dermatologists recommend this be used from 2x per week to, at most, every other day. Light use is recommended because salycyclic acid is known to irritate the skin and the irritation can present as redness which this facewash aims to prevent, itchiness, dryness, etc. I have tried the orange-colored original Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne face wash and the pink/grapefruit Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne face wash, and to be quite honest I actually find the scent of this green bottle to be more attractive and subtle than the others. There are a few reviews stating the smell is too strong and candy-like, but I didn't find the scent to be at all aggressive.

I have had horrible acne since 6th grade and had to go to ...
I've used this stuff for many years. I use it every single day in the shower. I have had horrible acne since 6th grade and had to go to a dermatologist as I got older. This was something my doctor recommended to me because my acne was so red against my very pale face. This stuff helped so much. Of course I'm taking a lot of medication and using other washes as well to fight the acne, but I feel like this wash fits perfectly into my acne killing army. If I don't wake up and wash my face immediately with this stuff then I start getting pimples. This wash cleans my face great and if I ever have a bunch of pimples for some reason I just let it sit on m y face a little longer before rinsing it off. I've been going to my doctor for 7 years and fighting acne for 10. My face, back, shoulders, and chest are finally clear and this wash was one of the reasons my face is clear. I would recommend this face wash to anyone.

Affordable cleanser that works for maintenance
My skin type is dry and usually pretty clear but I typically have minor hormonal breakouts on my chin area that take a while to clear if I don't take preventative measures. This has been a great affordable product for me to maintain clear skin on my chin and I've repurchased a few times.I don't find that this dries my skin out, personally. I double cleanse at night with a gentle cleanser first and then use this every other day and usually follow with Clinique Moisture Surge Intense. If you have a skincare routine, I would recommend trying to cycle this in if you have similar skin to mine and see how it works for you! It's affordable and it's never been out of stock when I needed it on Amazon.

Great for clearing blackheads, but can cause some burning/sensitivity if used everyday
I like this face wash because it has 2% salicylic acid which is really good for exfoliating the skin and clearing pores and blackheads. Every time I use it, keep it on the face for about 2-3 minutes, then wash off, my blackheads are visibly diminished and "cleaned."The only thing about this is that you shouldn't use this face wash too much - even once a day daily is still a lot because I've experienced a lot sensitivity and burning to this even though I don't have sensitive skin. Even when I put on a gentle moisturizer after this wash, my face burns a lottt. I can still handle it though. It feels kind of "wind-burned." But the burning goes away after the moisturizer dries. But my face is still left really sensitive and sometimes I can't even rub my face too much after this wash. So that's why I recommend it once every OTHER day because using it everyday will make your face burn a lot. If you want something much gentler that will provide the same results, I recommend ZAPZYT. Has the same 2% salicylic acid but much less harsh and drying
