As per other reviews, the power LED switch area glows blue but does not activate the lamp. Will return as defective.UPDATE: Got it to work! This is an easy fix ... if you pop off the end cap with a blade, you'll see that there's a spring inside that is supposed to push against the white filter where the 'switch' is marked. On mine, the spring had obviously shaken loose in transit and was no longer seated against the filter. By simply repositioning it, the switch now works fine - and the lamp lights.Updating to 3 stars ... will see how it performs over the next few days.

I have bought several lights of this style over the last few days. Seller shipped quick, however, everything about this lamp screams "CHEAP". The light works fine, don't get me wrong, it does what it's suppose to. All things said, spend $20 more and get one of the Phive Architect lamps for $59. That $20 difference is night and day in terms of build quality, features, and design. This lamp, the BZBRLZ, is a very basic lamp, does what it says it will do and the light output is fine for day one, but you get what you pay for and spending $20 is a night & day difference... 4-stars because it works as advertised, so while this is a decent led lamp, next time I will spend the extra $20 for something closer to the Phive $59 LED Lamp. This lamp is not really a modern design, it's like the 30yr old style lamp except with LED's instead of a bulb. Still TBD if it holds up, I will probably replace it with another and use this one someplace else...

This lamp gives me what I need: light. There is a blue light that stays on as long as it's plugged in. There is a small spot marked where that blue light comes from which you gently press and the light will increase in brightness for a total of three levels of bright. I like the USB cord, as we are converting over as a whole, it seems. It clamps and stays pretty secure. I haven't seen it fall. It drooped a little on me once so far, but that was my error. Make sure you know how to work a lamp like this and you're good. I bought another lamp very similar to this one, and in THAT review I did some side by side photos because they are built slightly different. I just find this one to make a little more sense. I'll go ahead and add those here as well so you can see what I mean. Good lamp. Good light.

The light works great. Easy to clamp on the desk, three levels of "soft"light are nice. The design however, has a big problem. The slightest bit of static off your hand destroys the circuit. This is the second one. The first lasted a few days, until I walked up to my desk, touched it to turn it on, got a bit of static from walking across the carpet, and the light no longer worked. I returned it and bought another one, and was very careful to touch something metal before touching the lamp. Today I was distracted and touched the lamp first - and the slightest bit of static jumped to the lamp - it's dead. I recommend that you don't buy this unless you live in a humid climate.....

This is LED lamp has three brightness settings. Turning on, off, and selecting the brightness is done with a touch switch on the far end of the light diffuser panel. (no click-click switches) It has a decent reach and the lamp stays at the selected angle when extending or retracting the arm. The lamp and shade also rotate within the end of the arm, so getting light on what you want and not in your eyes is easy.I've been using them over six months with no problems at all.I will probably end up getting a couple more as time goes on. It's a really good value for the build quality - all metal.Highly recommended.

1/8/21 Update: It didn't last a full year. :( The blue light is pulsing, and when I try to turn it on, the light flickers and then turns off. For a bit it would just do that for like an hour then let me turn it on, now it's just completely dead. I really loved the articulating joints and 3 brightness levels, but now it's time to get a different one. I'm so bummed.This is such a great lamp! It clamps on to my desk well, has three brightness levels, and has so much articulation! I love this thing. :)

bought this for a work light for my garage work bench. It has three levels brightness, but I really wish it was brighter. That is not to say it wouldn't be great on a regular desk, but for my application it's okay. It also has an odd USB power block for power. I guess that could be great if you needed it in the car, or wanted it powered by a laptop.

This is probably one of the better (non-permanent) options to add light to a craft table. It holds it's space rather well, and combines nicely with the space. It also moves fairly well too. Probably my only complaint would be that the 100% setting isn't quite as bright as I would like, but I'd probably need to go for a more permanent solution for that.
