I've only had this cooler for a few weeks and the bottom broke out of it already. I taped it up with duct tape and have continued to use it. Perhaps I got a faulty one or all of them are low quality. If you buy one hopefully you will get a good one.I don't know if I will ever buy from this company again.Good luck.

If you need a cooler bag but need to save weight and size (e.g., kayaking or float trips) this is a nice alternative. Bear in mind, that you're giving up some insulation so drinks won't stay cold as long. This is more for a solo use, two people at most where you can fill this up with more ice to offset what you lose with a larger cooler.

This is my go-to cooler for the boat and for camping. I can pack this thing full of ice, drinks and snacks and not worry about it spilling or leaking all over the place. I can also roll it down and purge out the extra air keeping it compact, making it more efficient. It does not ice as long as my hard side Yeti, but it does keep it a lot longer than other cooler bags I have tried. It is also convenient that you can pack it down as small as you need as you start to empty it. Being basically a dry bag, I don’t have much to worry about when out on the boat, salt water won’t get in and it should float if it ever went overboard. Overall, if you are looking for something that will stay cold for a day on just about any outing, this will serve you well. You are paying more than your standard softside cooler, but you are not paying mule prices and getting a decent substitute.

Honestly, I didn't care for the design of this cooler when I first received it. Until my nephew asked me why I had it closed incorrectly. There is a trick to get the top closed and once you learn that you want to put the buckles on the outside of the opening, give the top a quick fold-over and then bend it in half to mate the buckles; life will be great using this cooler. It is very efficient (when used properly) and holds many beverages (great for on the boat). I also use it now to bring home frozen foods from the long trip to the store or even cold items in case you need to make extra stops during your shopping runs. I recommend this item.

Nice portable cooler that's not like lugging a suitcase!! saves a lot of space compared to the big boxy coolers.and does the job! my beer was super ice cold for many hours. Love this thing!!

This bag is much thicker than anticipated. It is 24 inches tall when unrolled, so nice and large, but also because it is insulated, it is harder to roll up.The strap is adjustable and has a bottle opener attached. It also has a valve to let air in...but I don't know why you would need that. I guess if you were putting dry ice in the bag?
