I'm hooked
I am a beginning DIYer. I was looking for a way to update my very dated primary bathroom, but I can't afford to hire someone. We bought a new vanity and it looks fantastic, but left holes in the walls and paint spots and such, and I did not want to repaint the whole bathroom either. I found these Avant Decor stone composite tiles and they looked perfect, with the thickness of tile but no grouting required. I figured if it didn't work out, I would rip them off and just have to repaint, so I might as well give them a chance.I could not be more pleased. It was surprisingly easy, even for a noob like me. My biggest struggle was cutting things to the precise measurements, and that's mostly because I just didn't have the tools and was winging it with what I had. I am thrilled with the end result. It looks so professional, and I think it really updates the space! I needed two boxes to do what I wanted to do, but while not super cheap, they're definitely affordable compared to other updates I could have done and the tiles stick HARD, even to the spaces with the paint and drywall dents and stuff. In fact, they stuck so hard that when I accidentally put one on at a tiny angle, there was no fixing it. It's permanent.I was thinking of repainting a part of my kitchen, but now I think I might actually buy more Avant Decor tiles and do it that way. I highly recommend.

These are beautiful and look like real marble.
These are a great price for peel and stick and I was very impressed when I opened the box. They are gorgeous. They are extremely adhesive - you won't get a 2nd chance to place the tile - so make sure you know exactly where it's going to go. Do not use any spray adhesive, it will actually make the tiles less sticky (I tried it on one and it was a waste of time). I snapped some lines prior to starting to give myself a guide and I'm glad I did. And once I got the first couple of tiles in place, the rest was just ensuring they were lined up together before pressing to the wall. Cutting these is easy - they are plastic so I thought it would be difficult and was expecting them to break in the wrong spot (always happens to me with ceramic tile) but I got a cheap drag knife and scored a line where it needed to be cut. After a few drags, I could easily bend and break the tile with my hands. For areas where I had to take less off, I used a pair of pliers to grab and bend the short end. I had to cut a u-channel out for under my light switch and that was easy as well. I scored the entire u-channel and then made several scores in the area that needed to go and then I took it out in sections. Cutting was not a problem.I did use silicone caulk in between the tiles, they looked unfinished without it, and that was easy; I just wiped the excess off with a sponge. Some reviews show that people use grout and I'm sure that works well too.I ordered some peel and stick flexible trim and will put that on the tops of the tiles to clean it up and give it a finished look. If you are on the fence about buying this - don't be. Installation took just over an hour for this backsplash on a 7 foot countertop. More time was spent snapping the guidelines and then caulking in between the tiles.

Stunning!
I ended up not using these so if you’re interested in the install/adhesion this isn’t the review for you!I still wanted to leave a review because it’s a newer product and deserves some more reviews. The tiles are gorgeous. When I opened the box, I actually did a double take and inspected them to make sure it was the correct product. I thought they’d sent me real tiles! They are quite shiny — a bit more so than I was expecting — but it’s really such a high class, beautiful product, that high gloss just elevates it even more. The only reason I’m not using them is they just do not work with my kitchen’s color scheme. It has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with my kitchen. When I give my bathrooms a revamp I will 100% be purchasing these again. For now, I’m returning them. I’ll be back though!I’ve done a lot of DIY, mostly flooring but also peel and stick tile (the real stone kind though). The install looks super simple and, based on the density and the fact this is a score and snap method, I believe a LVP cutter (the kind with the lever) would work perfectly. I can’t say for sure of course but just throwing the idea out there if you have a ton of tiles to cut in half, that would save a MASSIVE amount of time — you can always pick one up from a big box store and take it back if it doesn’t work!

Very shiny but nice if that’s what you want
I got a single sample of the gray and white tiles to see what I thought of them. I am more into Matt these days than shiny but I wanted to give them a try. I got a really good sample of both, but the shine is too much for me. I taped them up to my fireplace. I have quartz at the moment and sitting here this afternoon I can see the reflection of my backyard in the grey like it was a mirror. WAY too shiny for my location and needs but if you don’t mind that they’re very good copies of tile. I won’t be putting these on my fireplace, but would consider them for a backsplash or something

So impressed
Easy, no problems with adhesion, gorgeous feel, simple cutting just need a straight edge and a utility knife. On the tiny adjustments due to wall imperfections, I literally just went out into the garage and used the quickest tool that wasn’t put away, which was an orbital sander, and sanded off the small trim stuff, like less than an eighthI’ve done plenty of ceramic and porcelain and natural stone tile jobs…I didn’t want to deal with the mess while I redid my pantry. These composite tiles are gorgeous! I love the gloss and the mirror like reflection. They feel lovely too.If I change my mind and want to redo this, demo will be a breeze. I really want to do all the shelves now. I wish they offered a deep, midnight green in gloss too.I honestly think these are stunning, on par with real tile

Easy to install
Love these tiles. They were easy to cut and install. They are thick enough not to bend but not too thick to cut through. They make out downstairs kitchen pop. I highly recommend them.
