Nicely made and works well, it's a great way to remotely control and 12volt device. I currently have it on a car for switching lighting and it's been great. Install is easy with a little electrical knowledge, and it's small enough to hide almost anywhere.Remote range is nice, and works across my property pretty easily.Termials on the relay are pretty strong too, and grip firmly.A nice way to control your 12v circuits.

This remote states up too 100 meters, which is 328 feet. Even in a straight line of sight it cannot respond from even half that distance. That is fine with me as I don’t need to be that far away. It hooks up with simple connections. You can use it with offroad lights to have a relay connected so the remote can turn the lights on and off.The key fobs are small and the buttons are a little hard to press if you have larger fingers. There are antennas that pull up so you can get a farther range. The remotes work directly out of the package with no need to pair them.The relay is small so you can fit it anywhere in a vehicle easily. Overall, it is a nice unit even if it cannot go 328 feet.

This seemed ideal to control our outdoor lights from several doorways. Unfortunately, the connecting hubs only accept 14 gauge or smaller. Our house wiring is 12 gauge. This is advertised at handling 220 circuits that require 12 gauge. I will find a way to use them but will have to do rewiring in a switch box and could never use it with 220.

Hello there.,I set this up in my camper to be able to turn on/off led lights inside. It works great inside the camper but outside I have to be within 10 feet or it doesn't work.Installation is simple, just basic dc circuit knowledge is all you need.The overall quality seems good, even though it's a little clunky to use the key fobs because of the antenna. On the other hand, it's pretty fun and sort of old-school-ish so there's that!

I have a hobby which involves working with microcontrollers, specifically with Arduino. One of the challenges I faced was the need to operate a load wirelessly, from a few feet away. To accomplish this, I used a remote switch. I hacked the remote control and connected the pushbutton circuit to an opt-isolator, which was in turn connected to the microcontroller output. With this setup, I can now control a load wirelessly and remotely. I would highly recommend this product for similar applications.
