3 Gal. 3/16" Small Grain Horticultural Pumice for Cactus & Succulent, Bonsai Tree Soil Mix (3GAL Pumice S)

I’ve been using pumice as a soil ammendment for succulents for a few years and am always looking fort the best quality, low dust and uniform size pumice. This is it!!This quality lava rock provides great drainage and nutritients for my plants. I mix my own soil, but you can also mix 1/2 bagged succulent soil with 1/2 pumice like this and you’ll have an excellent gritty mix for your succulents. As a bonus it looks very nice mixed with polished rock a clean look to your top dressing. I sifted these pumice rocks into three different sizes and most rocks where between 6-8mm, about 1/4 of them were 8-10mm and very little, maybe 1/4 cup were 5mm or smaller. Dust particles were VERY minimal (about 3 Tbls MAX) — It’s definiately MUCH less dusty compared to other brands I’ve tried — although, I always rinse my pumice a couple times after sifting it anwyay it’s nice to get better value with more rocks and less dust.I highly recommend this for anyone growing succulents, bonsai or cacti. Serious growers will be impressed with the size, weight, and look of these rocks.

I am using this for bonsai. I always sift soil components before use, and this is perfect. There was about a tablespoon of fines, and a quart or two of 1/4+ sized particles, nothing bigger than 5/16"CaliBonsai must have, or source this product from somebody with excellent grading equipment.Thanks CaliBonsai!
