love these compression socks
I have tried other knee-high compression socks. Never liked them very much--until now! These are very comfortable. My calf is 14 inch, so I sized up to the 'wide' version--which fit perfectly. They are easy to get on and off, yet the 15-20mmHg feel snug and stay up even during aerobic exercise. I think these are going to make a big difference in helping my legs and feet feel better. Will be watching for another Amazon sale where these socks are included--at which point, I intend to stock up! But even at full price, I'd say they are worth it.

Perfect compression!
Love them! I was looking for everyday compression socks to wear throughout my pregnancy while at home or on the go. These are the winner! They have been amazing! Very comfortable and durable with the perfect amount of pressure. I switch back and forth between these and Bombas. I prefer these as they are thinner, better pressure all over and more breathable. I can easily wear these with any type of shoe.

Much better than previous versions!
Better than earlier versions! I’ve been buying these for a few years now. Earlier versions had a different fabric blend. Old ones felt like they had less spandex and the elasticity would wear out fast, causing the earlier ones to sag after only about 15 uses or so. The fabric also felt heavier, contributing to the early sagging.I’m happy to report these are much better. More elasticity and they stay up both better and after more repeated wearing and washings. The fabric has less of a sheen and the fabric isn’t as heavy, although just as thick (if that makes sense). They are even a bit more comfortable to wear.I always liked the mid-gray color. Seems to go with nearly everything I wear without looking like old school dress socks. Comrad is the only compression sock company with a wide leg version, doesn’t look like a dress sock, comes in non-dress-sock solid colors, and consistently stocks in my size. There are others with cooler designs and wild colors, but the colors are never consistent from season to season and my size is rarely stocked, if they even have a wide leg version. I can wear these with casual boots, sneakers, etc. and it’s the type of sock that just never looks out of place no matter the shoe, boot, or outfit. The key to making these last is following the washing directions religiously. Wash gentile in cold water with a mild detergent and always air dry. I’ve taken to air drying a lot more these days, so it doesn’t bother me. Never seen any compression socks that recommend tumble dry, so if you already know compression socks, these are no different.

Helpful Compression
My legs swell when I sit for a while, on long rides, on airplanes, after walks, and even worse when it’s warm. I’ve tried compression stockings before, but the fit was so bad I just found them very uncomfortable and ineffective. I have a small foot (shoe size), short legs, but wide calf. After seeing a lot of recent advertisements for “new” compression socks, and hoping for some relief, I decided to give these Komrad brand socks a try. I was very pleased to find sizing in regular and wide calf. I ordered a medium wide calf. I’m pleased to report the foot is a great fit, and the calf felt good - noticeable compression but not uncomfortable. Unfortunately the length is too long for me, so I turned the cuff down. Today was the Komrad socks’ maiden voyage. I wore them all day, including a 3 hour car ride and 10K steps sightseeing, all in summer heat. They were comfortable to wear all day, even with the tops turned down. My feet/legs were a little warm, but to be fair, that would likely be the case with regular socks in this heat. This evening I peeled them off, and was happy to see way less swelling than usual. I’ll take that. Looking forward to more comfortable activities in my Komrad socks.

Good Buy
These socks are great. They are comfortable. They hold their shape despite repeated washings. My legs feel really good wearing them.

The Winner!
I have long been beset by varicose veins and was advised by my doctor years ago to wear compression knee-high socks. I stand and walk often at work, as well, so I finally got in gear and tried several, including: Jobst, Dr. Segal's, Vim & Vigr, Go2Socks, Sockwell and Charmking. (Note that one of more of these come in various fabrics, so there may have been a fabric other than the one I tried that might have been better.)The clear winner was Comrad. The fit is best, the appearance of the fabric is best, and the feel of the fabric on my feet and legs is best. I was planning to just put them in the washing machine and even in the dryer, both of which you're not really supposed to do, but I am so fond of these that I have decided to treat them with utmost respect and just hand wash them and hang to dry. (Another note: Maybe it's okay to put these in the washer. I know that is not true of most compression socks, but it might be true of these.) (Oh, tiny downside: There is a special soft fabric right at the heel. It feels very nice, but I noticed that it easily became slightly snagged and lost its perfect appearance after just a wearing or two. However, this is not a problem for me because the shoes I wear these with have closed heels.)

Medium compression lacking
While they say medium compression I felt barely any difference. I have ordered several other brands and am disappointed on the lack of compression with these.

Great Quality! Worth the money.
Great quality! The length of the sock fits perfectly under my knee. Not to long or short and the band stays in place, without rolling or gouging into my leg. I bought several brands and this was definitely the best. Not to tight on my feet either. The compression is just right and evenly dispersed. This is my first time wearing compression socks so I wasn't sure how tight they would be. I bought 15-20mm and they are lightly snug without being to loose or to tight, I don't like things constricting me.
