Wicked sharp I would store these knives in their box for safety
FOURDOTKNIFE knife set comes into your home wicked sharp. No other way to say it. They could give you a closer shave than a barber could do. It will also tear up proteins like it had a grudge. The chef knife can whip through most frozen foods, plows through vegetables, and more this will handle just about anything. As sharp as it is, I did not mince anything. I left that up to the Santoku knife to deal with. It broke down a chicken with no sweat. You need this knife. Then comes the 7" Santou knife, one of my personal favorites. It is essentially a chef's knife. It does the same thing on an inch smaller. The dimples move the food, out of the way while chopping, and dicing, slicing.Rounding out these comes the 5" utility knife. It's a paring knife. Let's call it what it is. That, in my opinion, is the work horse in any kitchen. Then of course, if the knife sharpener. It's a decent one that is pretty easy to figure out.It comes in a nice box packaged ready to gift. A nice gift it would be at that. My first thought after opening was the beauty of these knives. Not the shiny beauty, but the nice-looking handle, the tang (pic 4 the backbone of the knife) that goes all the way through the actual knife. They have a nice weight and a good balance. They easily balance from the middle of the knife on the end of a finger.I would highly recommend buying those can't cut yourself gloves when using these knives. They really are that sharp. The whole leaving them in their box is another suggestion. I wouldn't want anyone to reach in a knife drawer and get a nasty cut. These knives are running $60. right now, its a good deal. Don't use them to open mail, or a box. These are food knives. You ruin the by using them for other things. If you need something in the kitchen to open your mail, or a box, or that bag of frozen whatever, get a pair of scissors.

Knifepalooza: When Meat Meets Its Match
So, the fam and I, in our usual 'Bubbe & Co.' style, have decided to forgo the supermarket meat aisle and support our local rancher. It's as farm-to-table as you can get, minus the mooing. But here's the rub: once you've got a mountain of roasts and ribs, and everyone's gearing up for the 'Meat Olympics' (we should totally trademark that), you need the right tools for the showdown.Picture this: the whole family's gathered around in the family room, bright blue tarps covering the floor, two six-foot tables set up and loaded down with almost 800 lbs of Angus beef (it was over 1000 lbs when we bought it, but let's face it, not everything is edible). We're up to our elbows in meat, all ready to be portioned and packed for the freezer. Every family member from 16 to 70 is standing by, ready to get to work!Enter the stainless steel knife set I got just for this meat-cutting extravaganza. I mean, we've got some serious cuts to make, and I'm not leaving it up to those ceramic show-offs from last time. This is a job for the real deal. These stainless steel wonders have proven their mettle (pun absolutely intended). They've made our meat-cutting days as smooth as my hubby's 'retired-gentleman' dance moves. There's a knife for each challenge—be it steak, ribs, or the ever-elusive brisket. And the sharpener? A cherry on top. A few swipes, and you're back in action, slicing like a pro.Sharp? You bet! They slice through the meat like my son-in-law through a DIY project. And the handle design? Fits in my hand like a glove, no slipping, no fuss. Even in the chaos of a multi-generational meat-cutting party, these knives hold their own.We went from roasts to steaks, ribs to chops, all without breaking a sweat. Well, maybe a little sweat - we're only human. That sharpener's a gem, keeping everything in tip-top shape as we went along. It's like having your own pit crew right in the kitchen or family room.No rust, no dullness, just good old-fashioned quality, ready to handle whatever we threw at them. They might not be the stars at the family BBQ, but they sure helped make it happen. If you're ever in the mood to wrangle a cow's worth of meat with your extended family (and honestly, who isn't?), and need a set of knives that'll step up when the stakes (or steaks) are high, these beauties won't steer you wrong. They may not write your next novel or fix the garage shelf, but they'll sure help fill the freezer. Happy butchering, y'all! 🥩🔪💪
