Latest update: I have now used this for three years, and It still works like a champ! I really do like this keyboard. The hinge is getting slightly worn but still works well. Typing is a breeze and I can type my normal speed no problem. I recharge the keyboard about 3-4 times a year, the battery lasts a very long time even after 3 years.Highly recommend. When I replace this iPad, I will look to buy another one of these.ProsWell made, covers the iPad well. iPad looks like a laptop.The hinge is excellent. I expected it to loosen over time. With daily use, it is as tight and durable as the day I got it, much to my delight and surprise. Stays at the angle that you want. This is the #1 reason I bought this cover. I use it as a laptop, in an easel configuration (for playing movies), and more. With this hinge, you can use it in so many ways. Well done.I reached out to customer service twice, and they were excellent both times (questions about the manual). Very responsive +++ConsTyping - the bluetooth can be very slow/non-responsive. If you are a fast typer, it may take a few minutes for it to fully Bluetooth connect and keep up. If really troublesome, forget the device in settings and reconnect. That helped.Heavy - consider if you will be traveling with this, adds significant weight because of the case and keyboardMatte finish - oil from your hands creates shadows/stains that can be cleaned with effortThe reason I gave it a four star rating is the typing speed. I am a fast typer, and for occasional / brief use, it is annoying. I have other BT keyboards that have the same problem but they are more responsive, quicker to get up to typing speed. It's the main reason for using this besides protection.I would hope over time they improve the BT connection. That would make it a superior product overall.UPDATENow for some reason, this keyboard is working perfectly and I am totally satisfied with it. It will now type at the speed that I type. I did play around with the keyboard settings (turned off predictive typing, double spacing...) It didn't seem to help at the time, and I put it away for 6 months. I recently pulled it out and started using it, and it works extremely well. I am updating this to a 5 star review.

Why this is the best keyboard case currently on the market:For one, it’s gorgeous. I’ve gotten complements at work and my MBA classes on the overall aesthetic of the case and the keyboard inside. When I show off and start switching between the backlight colors, my colleagues lose it, because their $2000 laptops only give them one color choice. And I have seven.Two, the keyboard is a joy to type on, and makes my Surface because I use from time to time unbearable. I love how the keys feel on this keyboard. It isn’t the squishy pseudo-keys that you get in a lot of these cases where the keyboard is built into the case, these are actual island style separated the keys that provide good feedback when you type on it, and eliminate the squishy keyboard nuisance of pressing in between keys and getting an unpredictable result.Three, battery life on this thing is pretty mind blowing for a keyboard this size. 90 days of continuous typing on one charge (with backlight off of course), and a solid 10+ hours with it on at full brightness.Four, back to the backlight --- I will never own another keyboard that isn’t backlit no matter the usage scenario. Sometimes I’m in a dark lecture hall or meeting room and even on the lowest settings the keys are plenty easy to see and a lifesaver really, so I couldn’t be more pleased.Five, believe it or not this company actually manufacturers the keyboard themselves – there’s no middle man buying them from somewhere else then relabeling it and calling it their own – these are straight from the source, so you know you’re getting the best deal possible.Why you should trust me: I’m admittedly a keyboard fanatic and have owned at least 20 keyboard cases including offerings from:❌Belkin (flimsy design, lackluster keyboard),❌Logitech (ridiculously overpriced, spotty Bluetooth connection),❌Targus (overpriced yet again),❌ZAGG (overpriced, fragile hinge, heavy) and now✔️YEKBEE that offers none of the defects of the aboveBelow the comparatively low price point of this YEKBEE, don’t even bother with the other brands as they’re either not manufactured in house or the quality is just abysmal.This case has saved my time, my sanity and my wallet, and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Excellent product at first - keys have option for backlight, long battery life, keeps ipad safe from breaking or screen cracking (I’ve dropped it), option to use like laptop or swivel for watching video or using as tablet easy. It is heavier than other options, and per other reviews some of the keys are not the most convenient (delete is near screen lock button, right side shift is small so I sometimes hit page up, no light on for when caps lock is engaged) but it’s not a big deal for me. It does take a little while to “wake up” and engage the bluetooth, but other tablet keyboards are similar. My HUGE issue is that after only 4 months, the hinge cracked then broke off. Once cracked, it was no longer able to prop open without wobbling or shut off the ipad screen when closed. It broke off completely the next day. I’m still able to use the keyboard, but now it’s useless as a case, or for a stand for watching video, etc. This case seemed promising, feels sturdy compared to my other hard cases with bluetooth keyboard and also it is heavier, but those hinges lasted nearly a year. Very disappointed. I’m going to continue the search for a hard case that lasts longer than a year.Update: company reached out and replaced for free, no fuss. I’m very happy about that since I do like the features of this case and it has kept my ipad safe. I increased rating from 2 stars to 4

This is a fantastic case! Very stylish. Had it for several months now and it has turned my iPad into a mini laptop! It's a very durable case and I absolutely love the 360 degree swivel (wish my MacBook Pro screen could swivel like that). The 360 degree flip version is excellent if you enjoy reading e-books (Kindle, iBooks etc) and enjoy holding your iPad & case like a Kindle. I really like the multiple colours of backlight to choose from. And yes, as others have noted, yes the case does add a bit of weight however I do find that given the price point and durability/protection the case offers, the bit of added weight is completely acceptable and expected.

I really did my research before getting an iPad keyboard. I didn’t want to spend much, but I did want something sturdy, no too heavy, multifunctional and a bit cool. I COULD NOT BE MORE DELIGHTED WITH MY CHOICE! I don’t often get time to review things but I have made an effort to go back through my orders to review this and thank the manufacturers, because I love it SO much! :)The keys are perfect size for me, even though it is a compact keyboard, it is very easy to adapt to. The keys feel satisfying to press, not cheap or spongey.The case looks classy and is very strong, but not too heavy. It LOOKS like a laptop.The iPad clips easily in and out of the screen holder, but it fits very snugly so no fear of it coming out.The screen holder and keyboard are perfectly weighted so it NEVER falls over.The battery life is UNBELIEVABLE. I had a keyboard years back for a 1st gen iPad and the worst thing about it was battery life. This one automatically goes into hibernation if you forget to turn it off. It has not run out on me ONCE yet.Finally, the backlit keys in 7 colours, is just insanely geekily fun, such a perk! And so easy to change.EVERYONE I show it to is impressed and says, “oh that’s flash/ really clever, I bet that was expensive.“ The kids at my school love it and so do my colleagues and friends.THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME - don’t think twice, you will NOT regret it.

Wirklich sehr schickes Teil. Tastatur leider Englisch. Aber sonst wirklich perfekt.Hervorzuheben ist der Akku. Habe die Tastatur aufgeladen und verwende sie nun zwei Monate täglich, der Akku läuft immer noch.
