Ceramic tweezers feel all the same to me at this point, doesn't stop these from being on par!
Incredibly quick shipping speeds from lightning vapes consistently (been shopping with them on and off amazon for years now), plus a good product to back it up. I love vaping and these are a much needed and wanted tool for me. To any new vaper into rebuildables I'll gladly give/get them a set due to the prices on them being so low. Such a small amount of money makes itself up in equity rather quickly. I use them for a great number of tasks, however I end up mostly use them for vaping and soldering (non-conductive, solder doesn't stick to them, precise, and they can withstand the high heat)I've come to think most ceramic tweezers are made by a few manufacturers after buying around, with the wonderful people at lightning being no exception., This doesn't stop them from providing those great quality tweezers that I know and love at a wonderful rate!I've only seen these types of tweezers break under extreme torquing (normally caused by wire that is too cool for the type of compression wanted to be done by the user) or something downright silly (I.E. TORCHING MICRO COILS WITH THEM, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE)Long story short, if you treat them if even an ounce of respect they will do you a world of favor (and if they do break, gift them to someone getting into rebuildables, they don't have to be perfectly aligned, 1/8" is enough to annoy me between the tips, but to someone just wanting to pinch coils it's unnoticeable). The worst part is you're doing yourself a disservice of you solder or vape by looking at these right now and buying!

Doe not compare to Striking Viking:
This review is both positive and negative. 1st, the positive. It's a great looking mustache and beard comb. Dual sided with two different size spacings, it works well on my beard. The grain that shows in my comb is very pronounced and visible, and gives it a bit of a "high end" feel to the comb. While not finished or stained, it has a low sheen to it that makes it "appear" to have a finish of some sort. That's where the positives end, the negatives are that it was 1) received without the case it is advertised as being shipped in. Ok, so the case is worth about a nickel...the point is attention to detail is lacking and the case is missing from my box. I have another comb like this and the protective case makes a difference when this wood comb is in your back pocket, suit pocket, in luggage. 2. The comb is warped. Looking straight on at the comb side tines, the comb is actually bent. There's a visible angle change. 3. The tines themselves are substandard in terms of workmanship, as though the cutting blades used to make the comb were dull. Holding the comb up to the light, I can see splinters and residue between the tines that should not be there, and I had to spend some time "cleaning them out". 4. A small point, but the comb has no smell. Good sandalwood has a smell to it that is missing in this comb. I cannot help but compare this to an almost identical comb ordered from Striking Viking which has a very pleasant smell to it. If both combs were side by side on my dresser I would be reaching for the other comb, and have found myself combing my mustache on occasion just for a quick scent of the wood in the Striking Viking comb. In closing this review if I were to do it again, I would spend a little bit more for the better product. As great as it looks, at the end of the day the comb is just "cheap".

It's fragile, and not really suitable as a pocket comb.
I really liked this comb when I took it out of the package. I thought with the nifty little case and compact size it would make a great pocket comb, as it was advertised. I was wrong. It is made of wood, and the grain runs parallel to the cut teeth, so it is very weak along the teeth lines. On the second day, it cracked right down them middle while carrying it in my pocket. I got some wood glue and filled the crack and clamped it overnight. I haven't really carried it in my pocket much since. Just now I put it in my front pocket and walked out to my car. I reached in my pocket to find two shorter combs -- it had broken in half. So it lasted just more than a week, and now I have two smaller combs.ADDITIONAL INFO:Seller is really terrific. They read the review and were concerned enough about my experience that they reached out to see how they could help. I think it's really impressive for a faceless online vendor to take personal interest in such a minor issue. Thanks, Quentin at Hurricane Barber for your concern and generosity!!!

High hopes, but broken in under 24 hours
Comb had a nice look and sandalwood smell. The few times I was able to use it I liked how the way it combed through my beard. However, within 24 hours the comb snapped in half in my pocket. I've never had good luck with wooden beard combs, but hoped this one would be different. Sadly it was not. I'll be going back to Kent acetate combs to replace the one I recently lost now I guess.Edit: Seller sent me out a replacement comb at no cost to me, and refunded my original purchase price as well. The new comb arrived and like the original, was in good condition. I do really like the comb, especially the sandalwood smell. It also works really well at distributing beard oil throughout my beard. The replacement comb will not be a pocket comb, just too much of a risk of breaking the comb due to the wood grain, especially in my active line of work. For a comb to keep at home, it is great. I've updated my rating to reflect the updated opinion. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is I can't use it for the purpose I originally intended/desired.
