Surprisingly good
I was hesitant at first to get these as the price was so low. BUT -- they've lived up to every hope I may have had! I started using them immediately and they're smooth, great variety of sizes -- I really like them. I prefer my dpns to be wood, as I feel they hold my yarn better. These are a very good quality and value. I highly recommend this set of double pointed needles.

Surprisingly good quality for the money
I was surprised at how great the quality was for the money. Also liked the stain color.I am a knitter so I already had a plastic needle sizer. Highly recommend one since not all of the knitting needles have the size printed on them.

Excellent overall
This is a comprehensive set of bamboo double pointed needles with sizes ranging from US 0 to US 15 (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13. US sizes are weird)<b>Pros</b>:1. Comprehensive set2. Extremely inexpensive. $8 for any size I'd possibly need? Sign me up!3. Quick to arrive4. Larger sizes seem sturdy.5. MM sizes engraved on needles. Very handy!I've only used the size 4 needles so far and they have been fab.<b>Neutral:</b> This is an $8 set. There is no fancy packaging, but each size comes in its own little cellophane packet.<b>Cons:</b> I'm being nitpicky here. This is a full set of double-pointed needles for $8. And most of them are awesome. But you're going to want to be aware of the cons so you know what you're getting, so here goes:1. Some of the needles have a scent to them. I have a very sensitive nose and it's not overwhelming. However, if you have a super sniffer you might want to be aware that a couple of needles have a scent. To reiterate: It's not hideous, but it's there.2. The points on some of the smaller needles are inconsistent. I apologize that there is no picture to demonstrate. On all of my other pictures Amazon was all, "I'll upload these no problem!" but for some reason it had a hissy fit on the one showing the differences in points. Most are uniform, but I had a couple of super sharp ones and a couple of blunt ones. One is literally squared off. Not a huge deal is it's on one of the very small sizes so will unlikely to be used much. Which leads into point 3...3. Although the smaller size are included I would caution that they are VERY thin. Bamboo plus teeny tiny needles = easy to bend and break. To use US sizes 0-3, you would need to be *excessively* gentle and careful with them. If you're looking for mainly tiny sizes, this set of needles may not be for you and I advise looking at much sturdier steel or aluminum needles.4. For the most part, the larger the needles are, the smoother they are. The size 4 that I have used are fine, but I have noticed when running my fingers over some of the others that they are not completely smooth. I would have to knit with them to find out if they need to be sanded - according to my fingers they'll probably be ok, but yarn may express a different opinion. Only one has a large defect though...which brings me to point 5.5. One has a large defect that will make it impossible to use without modification (see photo). I'm ok with 1/75 being a bit dodgy.6. Almost all the needles have the size engraved on them. A couple the engraving didn't quite take. Meh. Not a huge problem. It's just something to note.Overall, after using them (well...one size...) for a few days I'm very happy with these needles. I recommend them for beginners. If you're an expert knitter who knits a lot and knits fast, these are not the needles for you...you're going to want a much more sturdy and expensive set. However, for a beginner these are perfect. :kisses fingers:

Great set! Smooth bamboo needles, great range of sizes, 5 needles per size, good length
This set is great! I love the warmth and weight of bamboo needles. These needles are smooth. There are 5 is every size! They are a good length, not too short and not too long (I’m making hats.). There is a wide range of sizes. The only draw back is that there is no 7mm nor 7.5mm needles. This set goes from a set of 6.5mm to a set of 8mm, but this is clearly stated in the description.

SO GLAD I BOUGHT THESE!!
I am a newer knitter that is just getting into knitting in the round and double knitting. I got a nice set of Chiagoo interchangeables for Christmas that I absolutely love but I am not quite ready to invest a lot of money into a full set of double pointed needles until I get more experienced with the new techniques. I was hesitant to get this set because the price is so cheap. As they say, you get what you pay for but that is the not the case here! I have inspected all of the needles and the tips are smooth and quite consistent. The bigger needles do have a more blunt tip than the smaller ones but they still work well. The yarn glides fairly well over the needles with a little bit of drag which I like right now since I still fumble with them a bit when working in the round. After using my stainless steel Chiagoo's it took a little bit to get used to the drag but I am grateful I have it. I cannot sing enough praises for this set of needles.

Works for the price
A few of the needles bend in the middle because they are made cheaply. But if you can use another needle or work thru it they get the job done. It might screw up a beginner working on a project.

Still a good deal for 74pcs
Its a nice set of needles for the price, I like that it has sizes 0-15 all in one set. They're very smooth, but the tips are a little blunt, although that's not much of a problem.Each size is in its own cellophane baggie inside a larger cellophane baggie, inside a plastic baggie. When I got them, one of the inner baggies was opened and the needles were poking through, and one 6mm (US 10) needle is missing. I have others in that size anyway, and $7 for a 74 piece set is unbeatable. It's still a great set for the price, perfect for a beginner's toolbox.The smallest sizes seem surprisingly sturdy, I'm looking forward to learning to make socks on them!

Good value for testing sizes, not great quality
These needles look great at first, and are straight and clearly marked. But about one needle per set has tiny imperfections that catches and breaks the yarn if you're not careful. I was able to sand those smooth and oil the needles to successfully knit with them though, so if you just need to have all the sizes available, this is a decent purchase.
