I have a char griller model 5050. In two years all the oem parts rusted away rendering our propane side almost useless. This replacement set fit almost perfectly. The shields sit a little weird and the wires are VERY long but it only took 30 minutes to install and cooked our burgers beautifully. Thank you!

The replacement parts are well made and very easy to install.

I needed this to replace the old parts in my Char-Griller 5050. I am not sure what to do with the extra 2 feet of cord for the electric igniters. The heat shields are just a bit too long to actually fit the 5050. All minor problems i guess. Are the products sturdy? Only time will tell.

For a few bucks more than painted steel, definitely go with the stainless. Rust destroyed my original parts to my grill. Hopefully I get a couple more years so I can upgrade to a much larger smoker/grill but this was a great kit! The covers were a little large at the ends, but it works fine for me

Replacement parts seem ok, but the igniter wires are way too long and the washers were too small for connecting the igniters to the gas tubes.

Everything was as advertised.

Update: after replacing the igniter that did not work, finished installing and found that the heat shields also don't fit correctly. They do not sit down on the front mounts correctly because they aren't the right shape. Spend the extra and get replacement parts from Char-Grill, this isn't worth the aggravation. Burners and heat shield mounts fit ok. No screws in this kit to secure the burners to the back brackets and one igniter is too weak to light the burner. I would return it, but it was too much work to install before I found out one igniter didn't work.

Works just as told. Hopefully get 2-3 years of extra BBQ.

Unfortunately the delivery was missing the hanger brackets. The product is not able to be mounted without these parts.
