Quite pleased with these, they look very good quality. The wood did get a little dry after washing.

All the kitchen utensils in this set are made of a thick wood with a plastic covering on their handle. The plastic is smooth but gives enough of a good grip, with the wood also having a smooth surface.The wood is thick enough to not flex when using them for cooking, and there is enough of a variety of spoons to be able to use them in most situations. I recently used them when cooking a big pot of chicken curry and even though the curry sauce was thick, it wasn’t sticking to the spoon at all.Afterwards when they were washed clean, they looked like they hadn’t been used at all. There was no staining from the curry sauce, which seems to be because of what looks like a thin film of protection on the wood. It certainly does the job, and looks like they have been built to last for years.

Pros: they seem sturdy and built to last. They looked very pretty when unpacked.Cons: I was very excited to use my new set of spoons and knew I had to wash them gently right away after using them and dry them thoroughly, and even though I followed all the manufacturer's instructions they discolored after the first wash and drying ( I didn't soaked them or use abrasive detergents).And now they look really awful, won't be using them anymore and can't recommend them either

The wooden kitchen utensils came very well packaged in a cardboard box and inside each utensil is very well padded and wrap to prevent any damage – I was actually quite impressed how well padded they were! There are five different wooden utensils including a spoon, a spatula, a slotted spoon, a slotted turner and corner spoon all made from solid acacia wood. The utensils are 30.5cm in length and have a tactile, easy to hold, black plasticated handle (or there is an option of white). The plastic is slight shiny as you can see from the photographs.I think this is a really versatile set and the build quality is excellent. They are quite a modern design with a strong one-piece construction and due to them being made of wood they don’t scratch up coated pans either. Due to the natural oil finish on the utensils, food doesn’t stick to the wood, but you must hand wash these items and dry immediately after use in order to maintain them. They are very easy to clean. It is advised that you don’t put them in the dishwasher as this will likely damage the coating over time. I would recommend adding a bit of olive oil to the surface of the wood if any of the utensils looks like they are drying out but with proper maintenance this shouldn’t be necessary.The set is priced at £16.99 at the time of reviewing and I think that this is good value for money. With a bit of care these should last for ages.

I ordered the black set, there are every bit as stylish as the white set and look stunning. I have wanted a wooden set to replace my plastic one's for ages so when there came up I jumped at them.When I unpacked them the silicia gel pack in the box had split and the little bits went all over my worktop and floor which was super annoying!However the items were lovely. I washed them all in soapy warm water and dried them immediately. Acacia wood is stunning to look at and very hard wearing.SO TO KEEP THEM IN TIP TOP CONDITION, HANDWASH AND DRY IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU USE OLIVE OIL OR HOWARD'S BUTCHERS BLOCK CONDITIONER, THEY WILL LAST YEARS.This bottle of wood conditioner was recommended to me by a hand and wood carving expert when I bought a wooden cheese board, it is food safe and keeps wooden kitchen items in beautiful condition.I also used it to protect the side returns of my barbecue.So there you go two tips for you.Love these tools, sitting in my black very large Le Crueset utensil holder, not that the black handles came be seen ...I also have an Acacia Navaris Knife Block in the kitchen, so these match those.I have had to buy a few new household items because after 35 years of cooking these things do sometimes wear out. We are a big foodie family, so do love a decent cooking item ... Me Likee!

I'm overall very happy with these. So much so, that I ordered the salad servers from the same company.You can see in the photos the detail in the wood, that it's a single piece and how well it was machined.There are little character details in the wood - Which you can see in the photos.The only gripe I have with these, is the final finish.You can see in the zoomed images, that where they rubber handle coating is added, there are very small blemishes. This is apparent on most of the handles, but it's very small. With use over time, these will fade.This is also where you can see the final coating they applied to the wood (see the light to dark), where it was either dipped, or sprayed.I never expect wooden utensils to last as long as metal; however, I expect these to last a while.

Bit of a shame and I don’t have time now to reorder them.

These are horrible quality and lasted about a day. Followed all directions for washing and hand washed only. They still did not last. Would not recommend. Waste of money. Would love a refund.
