I have a family of four and we drink a ton of water we also have a big ice machine that takes water it purifies my water down to 3 tds sometimes between 5 and 2 tds and my water tastes great it has replaced my berkey, also Im confused because I see no mention of ultraviolet filtration but my icepure clearly has small uv light that lights up it lights up uv so I assume thats what it means, plus the filter is reasonably price and this unit only takes one. So far unless something changes over time I rate 10 out of 10. Also the box mine came in said it had a 5 to 1 water ratio I believe thats better then what they say in description. you do have to dump waste water and add water frequently but thats the case of most counter top units I only remove holding tank when dumping I fill a pitcher of water to pour in machine isntead of removing tank its easier.

After 33 days, the taste is changed dramatically. Device didn't worked about filter changing (obviously, RO systems filters should change within 1 year). I'm so frustrated and my money goes to waste!!!----------++++++++++++----------------Here is my opinion after 5 days. İt gives healthy water. And good product for that kind of money. How water function is plus, I like it. Easy installment, good taste, ok size. But there's two things they should improve it. Waste water and unfiltered water is in the same area. İt's not good for filter's life. Secondly, I don't prefer the white color for that kind of product. And last, the plastic material looks cheap. At the and, it's p/p device, I like it.

There is nothing about the product that I dislike. Amazon provided me an opportunity to find the product at a value price. Ease of understanding usage is due to its simplicity. I can say the more I use, the better the taste of the water. I use it to fill a pitcher in the morning and I add a lemon / lime for taste. During the day, I also will fill a glass with water without any additional additives for a drink between meals. I recommend the Water Filtration System for all, due to the value, aesthetic appearance and simplicity.

The E4 error code appeared from the 5th month since I brought. Couldn't dispense hot water during the error, but only room temperature. The error code could be turned off by restarting, but keep coming back after a few days or after a few hours.The customer services is great. They give me instruction through email and help to solve the problem step by step. The problem has been solved now. Will continue to use the machine and update in next few months.

Taste has changed and replacement filter are hard to find.

I have tried countertop distillation and faucet filters and there is no comparison to this American made machine. My water taste clean, just like I like it. Icepure removed all of the chlorine in my water. I use it for cooking, coffee and drinking. I look great and I feel even better. Thank you so much for this absolute God send.Tip: The instructions say to purge the filter. Run about 12 litters through it before you actually drink it. And on the first use make sure to empty the white ro membrane discharge in the water water into the Sink right away. Don't let it get sucked backed into the filter.

I was so excited about this machine. It’s beautiful and functional.I followed the instructions perfectly. The first round of water went through the machine exactly as expected. The water tested almost pure. When I filled it again, the motor hummed but the water did not get pulled through the machine and an error ‘E4 ‘ on the display and ‘lacks water’ light on when the tank was full. I unplugged and replugged it which made it work. The second round tested even more pure. But it stopped working again after round 2. If the company helps me to trouble shoot it, I will update my review with the results. Otherwise it will be sent back.—-Replacement ordered. The machine works and my water tester consistently shows ‘12’ (the last machine was showing ‘40’ and the unfiltered tap water is ‘266’) however - the taste is bad, like plastic. It only taste good when it’s new water filtered and immediately comes out. If the water is sitting in the tank for a day or two it comes out tasting like plastic. I’ve filtered through 8-10 rounds of water and it’s still the same problem. I look everything else about the machine but the taste is no good.

Easy to install and love the volyme and temperature control. However, water tastes amd smell worse than tap water. I can't explain exactly what it likes, maybe plastic-like, but I can say it was really bad so that I worried if it is harmful.
