I liked the color, style and size.

I like traveling and taking photos, although I don't shoot very well. I have a summer hat, a winter hat, and some baseball caps that can be worn in all seasons. With this hat box, it is very convenient to take photos during the trip. Love this hat box!

I have a lot of hats, and was looking for a box that could accommodate some of my hats with wider brims. This hat box could *just* fit one of my wide, structured straw Kentucky Derby-style hats, with some room on top for a couple other small, flatter hats besides. However, I will go back to using a box made out of cardboard just because of the sturdiness factor. While this box will hold up with a lightweight box on top of it, it won’t hold anything heavyish without crushing in a little bit. Also, it does not have the sleek, smooth look of a bandbox , as it is made of felt, and can therefore flex and crush. It arrived, folded up, and is still a little creased from that. This does not in any way reduce its level of functionality, but it will not look as sleek as a standard hat box on a shelf, for example. Still, I was happy with this purchase and will use it to store things that can get a little bit crushed without harm.

As you can see in the pictures the "box" is just big enough for a Stetson cowboy hat and deep enough that I can fit the Stetson and a crushable outback. There is probably enough depth to add one more hat if the crown isn't too tall. I would consider this more of a hat storage container as opposed to a hat box as the whole thing is made of a soft crushable felt. Nice to keep out of season hats in so that they don't get all dusty (felt hats are just too warm 6 months out of the year here) but it isn't stiff like a box would be to help prevent from crushing. Due to this I would think twice about stacking anything on top other than maybe another one of these with only one or two hats in it. I may cut up a cardboard box to provide some stiffening of the walls so that I could feel more comfortable traveling with it. There is a clear window on the front so if you do have multiple of these you can easily identify which one you need to access. For the price I am not mad what so ever as it fits my largest and most expensive hats and will help keep them clean and out of the way when not in regular use.

I'm a big dubious about this hat box. I got it yesterday and zipped it closed, but the fabric the box is constructed out of doesn't seem really stiff. We have a number of cowboy hats to move to our new house, and I'm almost afraid if I put more than a couple in here, something is going to give - either the zipper or the fabric itself - when weight is put into it. I guess I was expecting it to be more solid sided, like the old-fashioned hat boxes my mom had. Like the cardboard ones. This one is some kind of fabric, and a nice color grey, but it doesn't seem as sturdy. I'll try to put those hats in there before we move and I'll report back if it has a fail. And yes, I am a worrier, but I suspect this won't take all the 8 hats we have to put in it and maintain it's structural integrity. I'll let you know cause we gotta be out of here in a few weeks.

I like this container, but for my wide brim hats it's not quite big enough - it causes the brims to turn up. It's also made of soft, felt-like material - so not sturdy. I like the color and idea of this though - I ended up using it to hold my scarves.

I needed this for our fedoras versus actual men's cowboy hats. As you can see, I can fit multiple ones inside and be able to see from the outside which ones are in them. The handy leather carrying strap is handy and the zipper zip will. The only thing taking off a star for is the fabric is very soft so there's really no protection, other than from dust. I know they're really meant just for caring or for storage, but it would be nice if they were a little bit heavier weight for the price.

This is a wide felt hat storage bag. It has a clear window in the front and two PU leather handles for easy carry. It's collapsible. The walls are soft felt, so this bag will not protect the hats from crushing just from dirt and dust. Although it's big enough to fit around 6-7 wide brimmed hats stacked together.
