A brilliant Wax- a must have wax in your detailing kit
This is probably one of the most under-rated waxes on the market. Do not be fooled by the low price, this wax kicks the butts of waxes at £60 to £150. If you’re considering autoglym HD wax as a purchase, you need to consider this wax.It has awesome hydrophobicity: water beads amazingly and for a long time.Durability- lasts about 3 to 6 months: i reapply every 4 months.Gloss - amazing, naturally it depends on the paint condition it’s protecting, ( it’s not a polish, it’s a wax and sealant) but you get some decent levels of gloss.Key to best results are decontamination (like every other wax) prior to application (eg fallout - korrosol- , tar remover & degrease -Surfex HD- , clay bar) and using a IPA / panel wipe prior to applying. You apply it sparingly, this means pad applicator touches the wax tin maybe 3 - 4 times for a full size saloon. Applicator should be damp. Leave to haze before buffing off.Bilt Hamber nailed this one!

Excellent Wax with a brilliant finish
I've used SO many waxes and polymer products over the years and saw this as a highly recommended product in several well respected auto publications, so thought I would give it a try.I had some scuffs on a couple of panels and took some time to repair them before cutting the clear coat back in 4 stages, finishing with this wax. Wow! What a result!Obviously using good cutting compounds made a huge difference but finishing the job with this wax was a good choice. I can see why it's so highly recommended.Application was in hot weather and shade wasn't great but it applied well, buffed off reasonably easily and gave a deep, wet look shine which is repelling dirt really wellThe true test of a wax isn't how it looks when it's just been done, it's how it lasts.... And after a few weeks, and a couple of good washes, it's still as good as when I applied it. It's as hydrophobic as it gets and dirt is struggling to stick to the paint, so washing is really easy. All I would recommend is washing your car/bike with pH-neutral soaps after application, so you don't wash the wax out of the paint. Do that and it will last a long timeNot much needed to coat a car heavily either (I'm estimating I've used no more then 30g to cover an Audi A5) so it's not only a great wax but it has a great value for money as 250g will last!

Great protective shine
I use Carnauba wax products to take car of my car and motorbike. My car is a 2013 Passat, but beyond some minor stone chips looks brand new, in fact perhaps better than brand new. It stands out amongst other cars on the street. So when I found Bilt Hamber Double Speed wax and did some research I thought I would give it a go. I washed my motorbike first with Simoniz Professional Shampoo and Wax, my usual wash and wax product. I dried it and then applied Double Speed Wax to all surfaces. It's great on paintwork, plastic and most other surfaces and whilst best applied warm, I find keeping the product in the house means it works better. The attraction to this product was it contains T1 Carnauba wax which is the purest form of the wax. It does take some effort to apply and polish and as I've said it's easier to apply and finish in a warm environment, but if you're willing to put in the effort you'll get an amazing finish which provides protection and shine for longer than any other wax I have used. After a couple of applications I also found it much easier to wash the bike as dirt just doesn't stick and I know that can be said for other waxes, but for me this is the best I have used.

Good and slightly less good points
The wax is easy to apply with the pad provided and, from the amount used for one car, should last many months or even years. The wax gave an impressive shine but did take a little more effort than my usual polish (Autoglym Super Resin) to buff off.The only problem area was the bonnet. However hard I tried, it left streaks. A second application gave similar results. Not sure why, it was a cool November day, although the sun was shining. I tried various cloths, including the one supplied with the wax. I then applied Autoglym which immediately corrected the issue, leaving a pristine and streak free finish.Admittedly, the bonnet is the hardest panel to polish to an even shine as it is a big area and you look down onto it therefore more likely to spot imperfections.I will try again and see how I get on.
