Read the trouble shoot
Little difficult to set up but all in all ok

This device is not of great quality. The ring is unpleasant and too soft. I would not buy again. However I did not find other battery operated choices that appear to be of higher quality. This is a replacement for a quite old device that had ring options and much more pleasant and louder rings. Do they make such door bells anymore?

It works, but not very loud
Volume is all the way up and if you have the tv on a little loud, you will strain to hear this doorbell

20 ft range ONLY.
They only have a 20 foot range in normal household applications, so do not believe the lies the factory will tell you. They are only good for 20 feet and nothing more. You also need to ring the button 3x to get them to ring. No big deal as I just put a label on them above the ringer saying BACKYARD RING 3X.One good thing though is they BOTH ring at the same time with just one button. I got them for that purpose because the ringing is such a low volume and non-adjustable. But, hey, just get 2ea and keep them both within 20 feet of the button and you will be happy.I set my two on the backyard window ledge inside and just open the window when I am in the backyard and I can hear them fine as long as I am not running any loud yard equipment.

Easy install
This is a super easy install. It has 3 main different ring tones that you can select by simply pressing a button on the back of the speaker unit. There is also a jumper you can remove inside the button that makes the ring a shorter ring. It came with the button cell battery in the button but requires 2 AA batteries for the speaker unit.y only complaint is the ring tone is a bit distorted. Had it sounded a bit better I would have gladly given it 5 stars. No other complaints and I’m happy with the purchase.

Door Bell should have had more chimes
I used the door bel for my home, I was a little disappointed as it should have had more than one chime and I would replace it if I can find another door bell with at least six different chimes, The one I replaced had 30 different chimes.Will recomend!!!!!!!!!Regards,Derrick V.
