I had my doubts about this item. Every time we have ever purchased a sun guard the thing is impossible to fold, gets bent, and ends up in the trash after a year. APPLAUSE to the team that designed this marvel of a product as it is sleek and handles our Mini Cooper's tiny windshield as fluidly as it handles our minivan's. It is quick and easy to use - just like an umbrella. It also feels solid enough that it isn't going to break at will. It folds down to a small size that can be stored in the cabin of any car without imposing on leg room. I use this every day and it is keeping our car much cooler - and with 104 degree days in Austin that is a blessing.One minor nit though - it oddly came with a storage bag. I found this very strange as its design does velcro shut and store just like an ordinary umbrella. I would forgo the odd storage bag in future iterations and design a loop hanger directly on the screen umbrella itself instead.

I got the "Silver & Black" - there's also a "Black & Silver," with the only apparent difference being that the wrap-strap is black.This umbrella-style folding sun shade is brilliantly designed. I've had it for 3 months and it has proved to be sturdy while still being super flexible.I am confident in their claim that this would fit a wide variety of windshields. It is a bit oversized for my tiny Mazda cx3 windshield, but the fact that the smaller arms & joints towards the edge of the umbrella haven't snapped (after being repeatedly fanagled behind visors, the active driving display and car doors themselves) is a miracle of engineering.My only complaint is the wrap-strap sewing has come loose and will eventually fall apart. I suppose it can't be helped due to the thin nature of the fabric; but otherwise, it is a well-made product. Highly recommend!

I was really excited for this sun shade because it would fold as an umbrella. Sadly the first time I bought it it broke within the first week, decided to repurchase and it was durable for one month. As the pictures show the wires broke off. For the price I’m not willing to repurchase a third time if it’s only going to last for 1 month. Other than that, it provided very good protection in the summer & it was easy to use. I would recommend but if you know you will be using it often I would think about it or get it when it’s in a discounted price. (By often, I mean, open & closing it several times a day)

While it is very easy to use, it is way too big. Bought this for 2022 so civic touring. It's so big, I can only open it half way and it looks like a floppy mess. Contemplating on returning it. But first I will try it on my 2016 WRX. If it's still too big then will definitely be returning this unfortunately.-Update- despite the fitment check, it says this will not fit a 2016 WRX, yet it fits perfectly. It does NOT fit the 2022 civic touring though. Way too big. Could not use on the Honda without damaging something or breaking the product. Since you cannot fully open it with the Honda, there's no real way to secure it to stay put.Will be using it for the WRX instead. Still 3 stars though because it seems rather flimsy overall and does not seem like it would last more than a year.

I love this umbrella shade. It’s a little bit of trouble to get it going but once it’s in it works great and it does keep my car cooler and protects my dashboard. I got the one with the split and Velcro closure so it doesn’t interfere with my rear view mirror. The handle is short enough not to damage my camera screen. I use it a lot because I live in a warm climate so wearability is important. I like that it came with a cover sleeve although I don’t use it now because it’s still hot here. I’ll use it in winter when I put the shade away until it gets hot again. It’s a good product, well made, and once I got the hang of it it’s easy to use.

I have a small SUV. This system is less cumbersome and bulky to store (than typical folded sun screens) when not in use. Leaves more room in the car for the important items like dogs and husband! Easy to us.

Everything about it feels cheap. I unfolded it to see if it would fit and it sort of does, my ford focus dash is too short for the handle to rest on it properly. The umbrella tines are definitely going to break at the slightest provocation, but in the meantime, it'll work.

I hate fussing with windshield sun screens. I've used traditional folding ones, the two piece twist and store ones,, and they are fine, Some disintegrate in the sun faster than I would like, or become brittle and fade quickly. So far, this umbrella style windshield sun screen has worked really well, although it does take a little patience to get it in place the first few times. My car is an old 2003 Subaru wagon and this screen is a little bigger than my windshield, so I get full coverage, but I have to adjust the spokes each time to keep them from bending the wrong way if they catch on the edges of the dash or frame. So I partially open it, tuck all the spokes in place, then snap it fully open with the latch. I don't mind the minute of extra care but my mom gets frustrated with it and complains that its not as easy as some of the videos make it seem. It unfolds very easily and even fits back into its storage pouch without any problem, which surprised me quite a bit. I thought there was no way it would fit back in after the first use, but I was wrong. It stores away nicely. So overall I am pretty happy with it and would recommend it to friends.

El producto es muy bueno y practico aunque hay un par de puntos que no me agradaron y por el cual le doy 4 estrellas y no 5:1.- el boton para desplegar el parasol es somamente duro, en ocaciones necesitas ambas manos para poder precionarlo.2.- al ser el sistema similar al de un paraguas, cuanta con rayos y no es posible que tenga una avertura para el espejo rotrovisor como practicamente todos los parasol de auto, por lo que queda presionado el espejo contra el parasol.

El producto es bonito a la vista y práctico para guardarse al venir con funda se guarda como un paraguas y ocupa poco espacio, sin embargo no cubre todo el parabrisas. 9/10

Realmente no hace una diferencia notable, aunque es medianamente práctico, en realidad no cambia mucho el calor al interior del vehículo. Además, es muy pequeño.
