Research before ordering, dig deep, and don’t order in haste
Two stars because Urolithin-A is worth looking into. I do question health supplements with ties to food manufacturer Nestle.Wanting to make sure I would receive freshly made product, I relied on Amazon’s “date first available” info, choosing the ginger version because it had the most recent first available date, 06/23/23 . After receiving the product I found that it was in storage somewhere for almost a year before it first became available on Amazon. I ordered on or about 08/30/23. The individual packets have manufacture dates of 07/22/2022, but no expiration date. The box has a sticker with expiration date (07/31/2024) but no manufacture date. This seems off, and led me to do more research. Having discovered that the company manufacturing this, “Timeline Mitopure,” Amazentis, received funding from Nestle, and that one of the two company founders is, or has been, on the Nestle board of directors, I now question even more. To anyone reading this review before ordering, I suggest doing your own research, and know that you will have to really dig and use caution. I waded through many questionable reviews, and found almost nothing, positive or negative, from independent, reliable review sources. I regret ordering in haste. As Amazon doesn’t allow returns for this, I’ll use it and update this review and star rating if I have anything more to report.
