So close to being the perfect midgrade mouse
I waited to write this review because I wanted to give kraken a chance to respond to me but they never did. This mouse has so much potential and could have really filled a void for a premium mouse with premium features at an inexpensive price point but it fell short. I'll start with the good and there's plenty of it. Shape is really similar to the G-pro-x but slightly smaller which I think is the perfect size. Comes with a separate honeycomb backplate which is magnetic or you can keep the original solid shell. Also comes with kraken style grip tape perfectly cut for the mouse which saves you another $10-15. The feet at smooth PTFE. Type-c cable that's lightweight and well made. Comes with the option of running wired, on Bluetooth or the included 2.4ghz dongle for latency free wireless connection. The switches are crisp tactile and precise. The fit and finish is on point and overall a top notch mouse right out of the box. For half the price of the g-pro-x it's a steal. Now for the bad. I messaged kraken several times to request any info on when they were releasing its software for the mouse and never got a response. Without it I'm unable to program the side buttons, set the refresh rate, use precise dpi or correct its ips and denounce issues. I prefer a 700dpi which for me to use a similar speed I need to adjust each game i play internally on its sensitivity but if I switch to any of my other mouses I have to adjust it back because they are all set at 700. Also unable to keep my side button binds which i rely on heavily. It's possible to program some games but switching mice is still a pain and others don't let me at all. There's also a denounce issue where the ips is not able to be adjusted and could be a simple fix but without software I can't. Clicks were registering twice or sometimes not at all. No way to tell what the refresh rate was either. Had kraken gotten back to me I would have either waited to review or even left 5 stars for its potential but I can't. If the mouse had qc issues and they ignored me the same I'd be pretty upset too. If they can fix these issues I'll adjust my rating but for now I feel it's generous to leave even 4 stars. I really loved this thing out of the box and thought it was a game changer but for now we'll just say it has a lot of potential.

Great
Amazing lightweight and good feeling mouse. It comes with a software which you can use to change the leds and response time. It’s just a little small but everything else covers it.

DO NOT BUY
This mouse is very bad. I don’t know if I got a fluke or something, but I would rather buy a Logitech mouse. Please don’t buy, my mouse was all beat up in the order, and didn’t work well. Not lightweight at all, and slow response time

What a Fantastic Lightweight Accurate Mouse
-Kraken Aero Mouse-Soft braided USB charging cable (or for wired mode)-Kraken style Mouse grip stickers-Blue Mouse sliders-honeycomb Shell-2.4Ghz USB receiverPRODUCT:**for the purpose of this review, I am going to keep the extra customization stickers OFF of the mouse so as not to change the weight of the mouse. I will use both the default shell and the honeycomb shell in my testing**This Kraken Aero mouse comes with a decent amount of customization accessories. Listed above. It’s considered compatible with PC, MAC, Xbox, and PlayStation. It has 6 DPI settings, and the RGB around the wheel will change color in the indication of that setting.800 DPI RED1600 DPI GREEN2400 DPI BLUE (My usual selection)3200 DPI BLUE5000 DPI YELLOW26000 DPI PURPLEThis Mouse is advertised as Ultra Lightweight (especially using the honeycomb shell), and Lag free. Both of those are very accurate in measuring this on a gram scale everything is as advertised.Sleep mode:This mouse has 2 sleep modes. Level 1 sleep mode is after 5 minutes of no movement, it will turn off all lights. You can then wake the mouse up by moving it.Level 2 sleep mode is when the mouse isn’t touched for 15 minutes and you’ll need to wake it up by actually pressing a button.FINAL THOUGHTS:This mouse has a lot of Positive aspects:-I’ve used other mice that have Huannuo switches before, but with the Kraken, I found them quite comfortable. Some other brands that had them, felt really stiff and took more pressure than I preferred for each click of the main Left and Right Buttons. But not with this one. They feel just right.-This mouse feels very well-balanced. It’s a shame that you can’t customize the side buttons as far as I’m aware. The sensor they use in this is listed as the PAW3395. I'm not familiar with it, but it feels very smooth and accurate. I was actually testing 2 different brands of mice at the same time and I could very much feel a difference with this mouse's accuracy vs. the other one I was using which I won’t name at the moment. However, there is a big cost difference between the 2, and the other mouse was part of a KB/Mouse Combo.-Ergonomically, this mouse feels pretty decent. . I don’t know what it is. The length isn’t even as long as my daily driver mouse, and it doesn’t arch as high. I’m usually very picky with my mice and I prefer a high enough arch for the palm, however, this mouse again just feels incredibly well balanced. I always felt my hand was comfortable enough. I think if you have a medium to medium-large hand you’ll be ok. It won’t beat my daily driver mouse which is still larger and has a thumb rest but it’s ok in a lot of aspects.I DO think that if you have large hands or bigger, this might not work well for you. Will this mouse work for you? Most likely. See all the things mentioned above. It’s decently comfortable, VERY lightweight, yet still feels well-balanced, and the sensor is quite accurate. The Switches they used don’t feel too stiff and it’s very responsive. During all my “gaming” testing, everything was good. I tried some RTS, and a few FPS games, and tossed in Aimlabs as well. It feels great. Can easily recommend it.

No drivers at all is sad.
I really like this mouse, it has really good potential, but it has no drivers and no exact control over basic things like the DPI. The only way to change DPI is with the stage button, which also changes the mouse RGB.The mouse itself is really good, it's lightweight, the battery lasts about a week, and being able to swap the top housings is really cool. It comes with a solid and honeycomb top cover, and its so easy to switch. But I just have to come back to the software, the hardware is great but you have no actual control over it. You can't change the RGB, you can't change the DPI (apart from stage button), you can't rebind any buttons (personally I disable the DPI button and have one constant, very annoying to accidentally hit mid-game), or even more advanced things like debounce time. I would recommend the company make some drivers for it (with advanced options for extra points) and this would be a home-run mouse. It's very similar to the Glorious Model O but no drivers is very bad.
