This is a heavy and well constructed snow globe. The music chimes are loud and crisp. The glass is crystal clear and feels thick and hefty. The snow floats for quite a while and the music plays for a few minutes when fully wound. The video shows it rotating, but it doesn't do that - it's stationary. They must have a separate device that adds that feature. My only nit pick is that I would have preferred the penguins to have color and be more life like; they seem too fake and robotic and sterile looking. That's why I deduct a star.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice quality snow globe, made out of a porcelain base, with a crank on the bottom, a glass snow globe type dome and the song Winter Wonderland playing. I gave it 4 stars because you have to shake it like the old snow globes and at this price point, I would hope the snow would dance around inside mechanically instead of having to shake it all the time to get the snow dancing. The musical sound is nice and again the quality of the globe is good, just a high price point for what you get.
