Q: Does is come with a mounting kit or is that a separate purchase?

It just has the brackets and bolts to attach them to the top of the hoist as shown in the photo. You will need to attach a pipe or square tubing to a solid object to hang the hoist from the brackets. I mounted mine in the attic with 1 1/4" square tubing (not included) with similar sized metal brackets (not included) on top of two roof truss 2x4's near the peak of the underside of the roof so the unit hangs between two trusses over the access hole to the attic.

Q: How wide is the opening on the two hooks?

For Electric Hoist Lift，the opening on the two hooks is 0.59inch wide.

Q: How long is the pulley cable?

At least 50 feet if not more. I ran the cable from my garage ceiling to the end of my driveway and still had cable left.

Q: “Is this good for holding Chandelier from attic ? ”

Depending on the weight of the chandelier, 400lbs or less I think it would be fine
