Each bird felting kit came in its own individual package with all the necessary supplies (instructions, felt, needles, foam). It was very easy to do, though I do feel the instructions are lacking (I.e. how much felt to use, tips to felt things together, how to make the tiny feet, etc.,) but YouTube has videos to help! There was also a video provided via QR code which was nice. The only thing I really didn’t appreciate was that the needles appear dirty and leave behind residue in the foam. I did accidentally prick myself, so I would recommend getting finger guards just to be safe. Not sure these needles are lead free.. overall, super easy kit! I even have enough left over felt to make a second chicken. I haven’t yet made the other birds but will try to post pictures when done! This is a very relaxing activity if you need something to focus on & the felt is very forgiving, which is good for people who stress about mistakes! Please note, I didn’t put on the strawberry because I didn’t like it, but there was plenty of felt left!

Product was fun to do with my 9 year old. Each one took about 2 hrs to do by ourselves. My 9 year old did a better job than myself, a 52 year old. Fun projects and easy to learn.

I had fun with this. I was a bit disappointed that the wool colors were much more muted than shown in the pictures and the guide book was also extremely faded so some instructions were illegible. Overall Id buy this again though, especially since it’s under $8

We have a homeschool at club and the children from 4 to 15 really enjoyed this project!

This kit is simple and includes everything you need to make the little chicken. It does include instructions, but they're really geared for someone who already knows how to felt and what the process entails -- the instructions pretty much say something like 'felt the white wool into a ball', so if you don't know how to "felt" you're out of luck. If you do understand the process, it's a cute and fairly simple kit.

I bought this to try. It should be fun.
