Very happy with this, having worked in a computer audio field my entire career, with a lot of recording studio time. It replaced most recent Focusrite which has software issues that even 2 years after reporting, were never addressed. I've tried a huge range of mic amp devices over the years, most recently a few Focusrites, Vocaster and Scarlett and this device is def my favourite. 24bit48k, more than enough for home use, excellent gain, clean audio, and almost no presence on desk, just an xlr cable to mic and USB C to pc. The software looked complete, but I don't need it, it functions as a mic on PC without any hassle at all, plug and play. Would strongly recommend. Using with Audio-Technica AT2020, but have tried with a dozen other microphones, all good.

I use this to connect a Rode Procaster (XLR) up to my Mac to use as a microphone for video conferencing, and for that it works perfectly.It is neat, requires virtually no setup to use, and performs perfectly well. The Mac recognised it without bother, and I was up and running in no time.All in all, I'm very happy with it, and it's declutterred my desk from the USB audio device that I was using before.That said, if I was recording audio for, say, a home studio album, then I'd probably not go with this. I just think that you can create a better audio stream from larger, more expensive audio devices, etc. But what this offers is a perfectly acceptable audio input that enables you to use an XLR mic WITHOUT requiring an external USB device as well.So, if you were on the road and wanted something that works, or you are just doing something quick at home or, as I am, want a clutter free desk but still use an XLR mic (because that's what I have!), then this is a fantastic option.I'm very pleased with it.

This little beauty is a game changer. I had a Shure mic connected with a Go XLR. I removed the Go XLR but then realised that I couldn't use my microphone any more (which is the best I've ever owned - for streaming) I was gutted, thinking I'd have to spend hundreds on new audio kit. THIS however changed all of that. The simplicity is amazing. Plug and play. It's very straight forward. Looks neat. A lot of people ask what it is as not every one has them. 10/10 recommend using this, also less cables, the XLR cables are at least 10m and being thick they can get in the way but now I have a simple 2m cable and it's perfect for my set up!

Slightly more expensive than some similar items, but this is obviously a high quality product, all metal chassis, works reliably and has decent sound quality. The only small issue I had was that it was difficult to find the correct software to connect it to a slightly older Mac running Catalina.

I tried this unit and it's a great little sound interface quick but the Steinberg UR22 has lower floor nois and 32bit recording for less money plus you get an extra channel. Now it's just portability you want I would get this. Maybe Shure will do a 32bit version next time.

My Laptop mic did not seem to work very well with my laptop during zoom sessions with my guitar group. As I had some mics from my gigging days I used the Shure MVX2U XLR-to-USB to connect to my Laptop. It seems to work very well once the right settings are applied to Zoom. Also, I can now record to various devices for practice assessment and making my own backing tracks.

I dislike this product a lot - for it being at a premium standpoint in terms of price, and branding with good reputation, this heavily disappointed me.At first, when taking it in hand - it is exactly what the pictures describe, it is made out of metal, and it feels robust, in this nice black colourway with the SHURE Logo being reflective. Its main flagship point, which is why I got it personally, is the connectivity seemed great, turning XLR into USB-C (trust me just buy a Focusrite with an gain booster). When using the MVX2U with a Shure SM7B (a Shure Mic Product) it worked fine, no hiss or white noise in the background when monitoring mic.The controls seemed alright - there was a app called MOTIV+ where you could control your gain, input, mute etc.However, not only three weeks after use, this showed hiss and eventually broke down.I do not know why still to this day why it broke under medium use, it did not have any drops or damage, just one day went out.I took the headache of getting a normal interface and actually - if you get a modern day interface it is actually perfect and straightforward now. I got a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 4th Gen Series with a SubZero MB1 and it’s been going better, and longer as of writing this since the MVX2U.Look somewhere else.

Great preamp for xlr microphone.

Todo lo que necesitas para una grabación de calidad, sin la necesidad de una interfaz de audio estorbosa.Hay sutiles diferencias entre la primera generación y la segunda, pero si se está decidiendo entre una y otra, esta Gen 2 es la mejor.Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta que el micrófono hace la diferencia. También considerar que, si se va a usar un SM7B, sí o sí, es necesario un preamplificador, que yo completo con unos cables XLR muy cortos conectados uno del MVX2U y al activador, el otro del amplificador al micrófono.Probado con un Lewitt MTP 340 y un Beta 58A, obteniendo un sonido muy profesional en ambos casos.

先日Shure MV7+を購入したのに合わせて、追加で購入しました。主な用途は通話で、配信は極稀に一般公開せずにやる程度です(つまり本当はオーバースペックです)。MV7+はUSB接続もできるのですが、XLRとUSBの同時出力ができたら便利だと思って購入しました。他の購入候補には、ElgatoのWAVE XLRやRolandのBridge Cast Oneがあったのですが、ちょうどAmazonで安く買えたので、こちらにしました。1つ目に嬉しかったのが結果的にXLRケーブルを買わずに済んだことです。このMVX2UをマイクのXLR端子に差し込んで、そこからUSBケーブルをパソコンにつなげば、セットアップは完了です。XLRケーブルはちゃんとしたモノなら、安くても意外と値が張りますから、これは大きな節約ポイントです。また設置してから気づいたのですが、XLRケーブル接続だと、私の使っているマイクアームとやや相性が悪く、これも回避できました。2つ目に嬉しかったことは、コンパクトであることです。本体に差し込めるタイプなので卓上を広くあけることができます。当初は妥協で選んだ製品でしたが、あとになってみれば大正解でした。なお一部レビューにもありますが、新型のMVX2UはPS5やXboxなどには対応しないことが公式サイトで名言されています。PS5やXboxは、UAC2.0(USB Audio Class 2.0)には未対応であることが要因と思われます。これらCS機で使いたい方は、別のオーディオインターフェースを使う必要があります。Switch2は、UAC2.0に対応しているようなので、確認出来次第追記します。余談ですが、Shure製品には悪質な偽物がフリマアプリなどを介して出回っていることが確認されているので、中古は避け、信頼できる店での購入をお勧めします。正規品にはシリアルナンバーがあり、公式サイトで製品登録が行えるので、購入後は速やかに登録するのをお勧めします。
