Skimpy amount
This works FANTASTIC. Covers well, 0 odor, easy to use. Would give it 5 stars; however had to use two of these! to do the grout on a small bathroom floor measuring 5'X 5'! Not sure about longevity but other brands I've tried typically only last a year or two.

End result is good, but it can be difficult to apply
The end result is quite good; grout looks clean and new. The main issue with the product is how slowly it dispenses the paint. Even when shaking for a full two minutes in advance, the paint is still slow to come out. You need to constantly depress the tip to keep it flowing. As a result, it takes quite a while to complete a bathroom. One pen will barely cover a small bathroom. In the end, I'm satisfied with the result.

Completely Transformed the Appearance of Two Bathrooms! Great product.
Unfortunately, I discovered that this product exists late in the game - I had already spent many hours working with a variety of toxic chemicals (including muriatic acid) to try to clean up my 14-year-old grout that lies between the natural stone floor tiling in my 2 bathrooms. I did what a could (an improvement but still heavily stained) and then sealed the grout with Miracle Sealants 511 Grout/Stone sealant. The very next day, I discovered this pen on Amazon (it's $2.50 cheaper at Home Depot) and ordered one. I was not about to try to remove the sealant that I'd just applied and, despite what others have said here, I used this product very successfully. It seemed to adhere quite well, despite the grout having already been sealed but I wasn't about to take any chances and applied Miracle Sealants 511 Grout/Stone sealant again, over this layer of paint, using a Home Depot sealant applicator for walls (Model#:19999X, Store SKU#: 468504 Grout Sealer Applicator Brush Bottle for Walls) as the one for floors (with a rotating wheel to roll along the grout line) received lousy online reviews.Several reviewers complained that the applicator tip on grout pen was not hardy enough to last out the paint contents of the pen. I had not problem with this but I did wonder if the problems experienced were from users who pressed too hard on the felt tip as it moved across the (abrasive) surface of the grout. I found that constant pressure was quite unnecessary to ensure paint flow and. I did have to wipe the edges of some of the tiles that got streaks of paint where the grout line was particularly narrow.

When the tip doesn't work, and your paint is trapped inside, here's what you do next?
The manufacturer clearly is more interested in selling pen sticks, than supplying a stick that draws all of the paint. I'd project after 4 pens, with two pen tips (one installed, and one extra supplied in the pen cap) that i was able to draw out 50% of the paint before the two tips were useless.Throw it away you say Mr. Manufacturer? HELL NO!Grab your wife's Q-tip box, pull out a handy dandy Q-tip, break it in two (creating a larger, and a smaller half). Take the smaller half and jam it in and out of the pen until the cotton end is soaked with paint. now jam it down further triggering the release valve in the pen to stay open (Q-tip shaft is now holding it open).Invert the pen and tap the remaining paint gently around your tile line, and swap with remaining end of original Q-Tip. Of course, if you need more Q-tips, liberally use your wife's Q-Tips as you see fit.Oh and for those that are concerned about the paint on your tiles, have a wet rag handy and wipe the excess paint off your tiles. My tiles are original off white shower stall; the grout is white, and i have 98 more projects to go on my honey dew list. If yours are high end tiles that can't afford extraneous paint getting on them....why are you using these pens in the first place????? hire an expert pal.

Did not work in my shower
TL;DR, this was annoying to apply and did not last a month in my shower. The directions on the package make it sound like you can simply fill in the grout lines and be done with it, but this is misleading. The website says not to get the get the grout wet for three days or to scrub it for twenty. I cleaned my shower, let it dry overnight then followed those rules and it flaked off the first time I washed it. Not only did it not last, but the application was very tedious. For some reason the paint simply wouldn't stick to the grout in certain sections. This is also difficult to use if your tiles have uneven sections where the grout is too deep or the tiles are too close together. Sometimes the paint just stopped flowing. I think I wasted about half the pen just pumping it on a piece of paper to get it flowing again, as I could often only paint a quarter of an inch before the paint stopped.

Definitely worth it!
This worked really well for me and the only reason I removed a star is because the applicator did not hold up. This is essentially a felt tip pen that you use to color your grout but as you can imagine the grout will essentially eat the felt tip.First, I cleaned the shower thoroughly, let it dry and the next morning I got to work on the coloring. I have a standard, builder grade, white, tile shower from 1991. The grout was dull with areas that just would not clean up entirely and I didn't really know if this would have much of an impact. My #1 tip is to start on the most critical areas because the tip is going to break down to barely a nub by the time you are done making the application less precise, and depending on the width of your grout it may not even really get in there. That being said, I did manage to do the whole shower and a few touch ups later. There is still plenty of product left in the pen but the tip is pretty much shot. I certainly would buy another pen but it would be fabulous if the tip could hold up better or it came with several replacement tips.Overall, it really brightened up my shower and I am very happy with the results.
