Solid Narrow Style Fitch Sash Window Fastener Lock Latch Turn (Satin Chrome)

I was very happy with the latch itself, however, I ignored my own advice of never using the screws supplied with such fittings an ended up with one screw with the cross head stripped to an irregular pit that will never come out.Otherwise this is excellent. I see another reviewer saying that it got too slack over time, I suggest that is the result of the two parts being placed too close together rather than a problem with the catch itself

I originally thought these were very good but sadly have noticed that they become very slack after a few weeks of use (opening and shutting Windows) ok but I think I'll have to replace them in the summer which is a shame.
