Unicorn Eclipse HD2 High Definition Professional Bristle Dartboard with Increased Playing Area and Super Thin Bullseye

This board is of superior quality and is of regulation/tournament size. The wires are thin, the colors are exceptional, and what I enjoy the most is the very clear white numbering. The board was very easy to hang, and the surround ring improves the appearance, and saves the wall from errant darts. The surround that I chose is a “WINMAU”. Unicorn is possibly the most popular board in the UK. Regardless of the board you purchase, just have fun and encourage others to participate in this wonderful sport, pass time or whatever you choose to call it. I have not received any type of compensation for my review.

It looks a bit different than the old one. I wish the numbers were brighter. I had to brighten the lighting around the board. So far no issues with the numbers popping off; have not hit any yet. I found and bought replacement numbers, for those who need them, on Amazon. I have only bought the Unicorn dartboard in recent years. I know people love Winmow, but I like the HD format of the Unicorn, so I will stick with it. I give it 5 stars because it is an excellent product. I have been using Unicorn for 7 years. I have replaced 2 boards in 22 years. They do need to be replaced now and then. It’s not a big deal. Nothing lasts forever. Cheers!

we play a lot of darts, tried a couple of other boards, and this on seems to hold up the best. after about a year of heavy play the bulls eye wears out.

Good board, but hardened in the middle after about a year.

The board delivered as promised. Played team darts years ago, but then fell away from it over time. It was something in which I was willing to make an investment for use at home. I wanted an excellent, pro-level dart board to get my game back. Few bounce outs, no deterioration of bristle. On average, I've probably played an average of an hour a day since receiving it. Mounting didn't give me a problem, as I'd designed and built my own backboard. One point to note about mounting: Don't sink the mounting bracket too far into the wall / backboard or it will require screwing the mounting screw too far into the back of the bull to get a snug fit or lots of shimming. Once that was adjusted, got a nice snug fit. That's in the instructions / other purchaser comments, so I can't complain. Spacers for the back of the board could be a little more substantial. Otherwise, no issues or concerns.

Really like the look of the board, but super disappointed in the mounting bracket and instructions. I used the 2 supplied short screws to mount the cheap little bracket to the wall and the longer screw to the board in the marked location on back of the board. To my surprise when I turned it back over this caused the sisal to push out of the face of the board, also now the screw is dead center of the bullseye and probably only a half inch from the face of the board, thus causing bounce outs and damage to dart tips. Really needs to be addressed as I can't be the first to have this happen. I was able to softly tap the sisal back in but now the red of my bullseye is a slighty bulging belly button and looks damaged compared to the rest of the board.

I did my research before purchasing a dart board and while I was skeptical of needing to spend so much for it to be high quality, it is well worth the investment. This board gets used every single day and it could not be any better. The material, thin wires to prevent bounce outs, and mounting system are all excellent. It has lasted many games without any show of wear and I'm sure it will continue to last for quite some time.

This was a gift for my boyfriend. He brought it to the bar where he throws and mounted it to test out with everyone. Everyone LOVED it, especially my boyfriend he's impressed with.... I'm going to sound stupid but, the metal wire that separates the color triangles. He loves how thin it is and takes up less triangle. He says there's been no bounce outs either, not yet anyway. Sounds like a good board since he brought it to play with his friends like a 10 year old boy lol

Great and I’m satisfied the quality, the only thing I complain is when I receive of my dart is already open box and lots of dent and the other numbers is broken,maybe I think is came from the delivery company

Gorgeous dart board! The spider is super thin and has basically eliminated bounce outs. Very sturdy, easy to mount. I regularly play on a Winmau and I would say the quality is the same but the Unicorn looks 100x better and costs slightly less.
