I liked the idea of the book more than the book itself. The pacing is awful, jumping around just as the MC's temper. It definitely reads like a first novel. I'm sure that the author will achieve great things, but this book is not it.

Hice la compra un viernes y decía que tardaría 5 días pero solo tardó 3 días en llegar. Entrega rápida. No sufrió daño en el envió, estaba en una bolsa de papel burbuja. Buena calidad de hojas, impresión y empastado. Resistente al abrirlo y no se daña el lomo. En mi opinión creo la impresión del texto desperdicia mucho espacio en la hoja por los margenes amplios pero la calidad es buena. Si recomiendo comprarlo por aqui.

A little story-time beforehand - on my part. I bought the book because I saw a reel on instagram but they only talked about vengance and nothing about roboters and more. I totally bought it and was kinda confused in the beginning and put it aside for a while.Two days ago I picked it up again and I devoured it. The book is awesome! Holy.I love Zetian and her badass behaviour. And I was soo damn happy the revenge part on the murderer of her sister wasn't getting dragged out.Though I get the background of the relationship between Zetian, Shimin and Sizhi, I'm not really a fan of it. Maybe because I find Sizhi still sus and think he might backstab Zetian later on (in the upcoming second book). I just ship Zetian and Shimin like hardcore because the two are a damn badass couple.But aside from that, I still love the book so damn much. It got a "throne" in my bookshelf because I loved it so much.One thing I need to critizes (sadly) is the quality of the book title. Not the title itself but the material.I touched the book for reading and did nothing else to it but the material of the title rubbed off. It's really sad because the golden glow goes away with it and maybe the title could even come off completly. A picture is added.Waiting in pain and mourning for April 2024 to come. *prays to the skies' that April will come soon*

I loved this book. Xiran is an amazing author and I love how Wu zetian was inspired by the first female Chinese empress. I was a bit disappointed on the love triangle part since my heart went to Li shimin and Gao Yizhi I couldn't explain how happy I was when it became poly. Wu zetian was a bit too ruthless and I loved it. I really hope this continues as a series because I went crazy when Shimin died and The message from the gods appeared. This book literally transported me into another world. I probably was more anxious than Zetian herself when she appeared out of the Chyrusulam.Just one wordAn absolute masterpiece.Amazing work Xiran. I am eagerly waiting for their*next book

”Love isn't some scarce resource to battle over. Love can be infinite, as much as your heart can open.”I really liked reading this book, it was empowering and had an interesting plot. It’s a feminist book about a strong woman in a world where woman are supposed to be under a man. The book I set in another world inspired by ancient china crossed with science fiction. So it’s like a sci-fi world but their morals and culture is ancient chinese inspired. There is big robots that’s 80 stories high that are controlled by humans with qi. I really like the how the world is built and the sci-fi was really interesting. The characters and the story was amazing. The main character Zetian was such a badass and I absolutely love her personality. It was incredible to follow her throughout the book. The book was empowering and real, emotional and just wow. I like how chines history was mixed with sci-fi. I love the romance, that was absolutely amazing! A really enjoyable book.What I don’t like is how the book ended. First of all it was a cliffhanger and the second book won’t be out before April next year. So, cheers to that… The next thing is how confusing the end felt, if you have read the book you will know what I mean. So much was pushed into the last pages that it was basically just information overload on my part. But you know except for that it was a really good book :)
