One Of The Best Bond Films
I remember first seeing this at the cinema back in 1997. This was Pierce Brosnan's second James Bond film, which established him more in the role. I have always preferred this to Goldeneye and it was certainly better than the following film, The World Is Not Enough. In fact, this has always been one of my favourite Bond films of the entire series. Everything about this film works. Teri Hatcher has a small role as an ex-flame of Bond's and Jonathan Pryce makes for a good, sinister Bond villain. The action scenes are mostly very good too, though the theme song by Sheryl Crow is pretty toe-curlingly awful. Michelle Yeo was the first Asian Bond Girl since You Only Live Twice and she is very impressive in her role. You may be interested to know, also, that this is, allegedly, the uncut version of the film. The film was slightly cut by the BBFC for its original cinema and video release, but the Ultimate Edition (this is the same version) contains all of the material previously cut by the BBFC, though it is only a matter of several seconds of footage. So, if you want the most complete version of the film, this is the one to get. As I said, if you have only ever seen the film at the cinema or on video, then you aren't really missing much, so it's up to you.Overall, this is a superb Bond film and worth buying. Brosnan's Bond career took a nosedive after this film, but it is still worlds better than most of the Daniel Craig Bond films, in my opinion. This was the last really decent film in the series, before the 2006 version of Casino Royale, but even that was flawed. If you want to see Pierce looking more comfortable and confident in the role of James Bond, then buy this and remember back when the Bond films were actually good...

A must-watch thilling Bond movie.
Amazing watch. Guns, gadgets and girls with the best 007 there has ever been.Personally I think it's the 6th best Bond movie and it's great to own it on Prime Video to watch anywhere in the world on your device instantly, HOWEVER, very annoying not to have the extra features & documentaries which are very popular with Bond fans and come as part of all 007 DVD and Blu-Rays.

Great bond adventure!
I think it's an excellent Bond adventure ! Brosnan is effortlessly cool as always and is for me the best Bond (Moore is my second fav). I think this is his best performance as Bond, even though I think he was great in all his films.Yeoh is also brilliant and beautiful and she too is super-cool. Add in the fact that she did lots of her stunts herself, then you have a very convincing Bond girl (she's also from the Chinese Intelligence in this film).I personally think that Pryce is a great villain ! He may not be as menacing as Sanchez but then that's not the point of him... He's a megalomaniac looking for coverage rights of a war he's looking on starting, he's a different kind of villain (in my mind). Some of the speeches he does are fantastic, and I love the "there's no news, like bad news" line.Plus, we have, albeit for a very short amount of time, the unforgettable Dr Kaufman !All in all, a great Bond adventure with all the elements to make any Bond fan extremely happy (like me !)

Good
Tomorrow Never Dies is the second James Bond outing for Pierce Brosnan. There is some nice bit of action and cool getaway scenes particularly in Saigon together with the interesting casting of Jonathan Pryce as the Media Mogul baddie with Gotz Otto as his henchman and the unlikely heroic casting of Michelle Yeoh as Bond's leading lady towards the film's ending. The plots worked fine of course. The film and its techniques were acceptable when it originally hit the box office and like Goldeneye, must be one of Brosnan's better entries in the Bond film franchise.

worth another watch
Arrived in good swift time. Seen before as I just wanted to get a sighted of the blu ray version in high definition. Pierce Brosnan as in his usual fearless, cunning cool antics as 007 tackling a media tycoon intent on threatening the world superpowers towards a world war 111 as bond must prevent this catastrophe

Good, but far from being as good as Goldeneye
Brosnans second outing as 007 and his second best behind Goldeneye.Good action, clever humor and more than a sprinkling of the Bond cheesiness

Brilliant Bond.
Along with Brosnans first Bond movie Goldeneye, this, his second outing is my favourite. A brilliant pre credit opening and a good David Arnold score. Love it
