Seems just as good as OEM with nice savings to boot
No one has ever accused track saws of being cheap tools, but when you need their precision and portability, they're hard to beat. The one thing I hate about my Makita setup is having to constantly be joining and breaking apart the two 55" rails I have, depending on whether I'm ripping the length of a 4x8 or cross cutting across the narrow width of a sheet of plywood. Having a third rail that lets me keep two joined and a third for shorter cuts is great, but the OEM rails aren't cheap. This rail is a nice alternative at a good savings--almost a third cheaper than OEM. It's perfectly straight according to my straight edge (nice given that I've heard of Makita OEM rails not being true) and the same dimensions as the OEM rails. It arrived in perfect condition with no dings, dents, bends or bows. The packaging was very nice with adequate extra cardboard to cushion the rail from the insults that are routinely showered on all of our packages by warehouse and delivery folks these days.In use, this rail performs as I would want it and expect it to. My saw slid smoothly on it, and the rail gripped the MDF I was cutting with no slipping or sliding.I'm very happy with this; I only wish that the company would make a 110" single piece rail as well--that would be great to have to add to my collection!

saw track
Straight and flat. This is a good track if and appears to be almost an exact copy of a Makita track.

not exactly the same dimentions
Makita and Festool guides are the same, but this guide is dimentionally a bit different and the tools do not slide as well as on the original

Good fit for Festool TS75 saw
I have a Festool TS75 with a couple of tracks. Having various sizes is handy and you can connect them to make other sizes. This track worked well with my saw. I didn't notice any play of the saw on the track so the line was nice and straight. The rubber strips on the bottom kept the track in place as I pushed the saw along. The splinter guard on the edge is made out of the same black material as the stabilizing strips. I guess this can be a good thing in that it would tend to help the track "stick" to the work better. But I'm concerned that the softer material won't be as effective as a splinter guard (which wasn't a problem in the case of ripping a piece of hard maple). I prefer the splinter guard to be stiffer and translucent so marks can be seen through it.

Nice quality track
I’m impressed with the quality of this track. It’s straight, strong and stays in place well. It seems very similar to the Makita tracks and is a good inexpensive alternative. If you’re looking for a second track or a replacement on a budget, this is worth considering.

Good value
The track-saw guide was well packaged, and arrived straight. The track is a single piece. The bottom-side has 3 rubbery grips, which hold well, although I always use clamps to be sure. The top-side provides tracks for your saw to slide on, and the track on the underside could probably support t-track clamps as well.

Great value!
This track is really nice quality and very accurate. It works flawlessly with my Makita track saw and the track clamps that I use. The aluminum is really nicely finished and the anti slip rubber on the bottom works great. The same adjustments for tolerance are possible with the Makita track saw and overall this is a great track for the money.
