Seems to be working for pain relief
I bought this for pain relief because I read a few studies showing that tart cherry is comparable to NSAIDs. I have daily pain and after taking this I noticed that I have been able to go without taking my usual daily Ibuprofen. So far so good. I hope this stays working for me.

Cheap Effective Gout Insurance, No Side Effects and best of all No Prescription Drugs.
I don't have a lot of reviews because I can't be bothered unless something is truly awesome. No one has paid me or given me free samples. I'm inundated with review requests daily and usually just delete them as fast as they come, but this product warrants a review since it is actually pretty amazing. I'm in my forties and never a heavy beer drinker, but I like sugar. Nonetheless I have toned down the sugar since my uric acid levels tested high and I had pain in my left foot for 3 weeks straight. So, that was a pretty awful three weeks of Crutches, Prednisone and the Doc wanted me to take an assortment of other nefarious drugs that I just couldn't get my head around.A few clicks later and I discovered Tart Cherry. Started with four a day for a few months and the gout never flared up for 1 year until I forgot them on a trip overseas. Of course sugar in my coffee and alcohol was the culprit and also the dumb assumption of having thought I had been "cured" led to my demise.Ordered from Amazon again and used a carrier shipping service and four days later they arrived to my relief.Took four right away, then 2 in the am and 2 at night. Magically the twinge went away and I am able to enjoy myself albeit not recklessly, For me personally, sugar is the cause of not only Gout but also high blood pressure. Of course the doctors all say it's the salt etc. but be warned...Sugar is the enemy and it took me years to figure that out on my own.Alright enough preaching. The title says it all. Buy, Swallow, No More Pain. Easy peasy so just do it already and end the suffering.I'm glad I did.

Very effective and quick results against inflammation in the body - especially when taken in additional daily doses
This supplement is fantastic. I have arthritis-related aches and pains that are partly inherited maternally and subjects me to daily discomfort and difficulty. Hips, feet, joints, neck. You name it. The thing is, I am still young, and vibrant (under 50) and plan to be until my last day on this planet and I am not interested in being in pain all the time or feeling like a sore tin person or having problems getting up, walking, or other routine mobile actions. So, knowing the tart cherry is one of nature's wonder remedies against inflammation, I decided to purchase the these pills because I just can't always drink the juice consistently or sufficiently.Let me mention, that this bottle recommends 1 pill a day, but I take 4. I also take fish oil and hyaluronic acid. This combination has helped reduce my myriad of aches dramatically. Surprisingly, it didn't take long to notice the difference. I attribute that to the extra doses I am taking. I did this because another reviewer shared that she was advised to do so for more effective results if the situation was intense. Mine was, so I took the advice also and it worked. I used to have tender feet, especially in the morning. Just stepping on them hurt. I would wake up with them inflamed. That barely happens now, if at all. I really don't even notice it. I had terrible, excruciating pain at the base of my spine, where my hip connects, especially if I laid down in certain ways and then tried to get up, as if that whole area was trying to lock. Now it doesn't "lock" so intensely. It is clearly improving and I have much less pain. At times - in my knees and ankles felt like they would crumble with pressure. All of that has calmed down wonderfully. I should mention that I also do self-massages of my limbs, and stretches. But the pain didn't calm until I started taking this combo (tart cherry, fish oil and hyaluronic acid).. Here's a little bonus tip: I just added raw Cacao and Maca powder to my diet, which are amazing superfoods and among many other benefits, are wonderful for circulation. With this natural remedies, I think I am on a good path to improved health. While I still fight with back pain, at least I don't feel assaulted by pain every day. Thank God!

Mere coincidence that my symptoms began improving gradually after taking it?
I had a suddenly painful inflammation of my hand/wrist, that eventually passed after about 5 weeks. At times it would become immensely swollen and unbearably painful. In addition to my internist, had seen an orthopedic wrist specialist, a neurologist, a hematologist and a rheumatologist. There were x-rays, MRIs, nerve studies, a vascular study, and several periodic draws for repeat / new blood tests. Different physicians tried prescribing different drugs for me to take, such as: high potency ibuprofen, 2 other NSAIDs, a steroid, and gabapentin, They were all useless, so I stopped taking each of them, after one or two ineffective doses. The most reliable (albeit impractical) relief I found for the pain was to plunge my hand/wrist into a bucket filled with hot water. But of course that only made the swelling worse.I had already been taking a vast number of various antioxidant pills, herbs, and beverages for months before my malady began, which continued throughout my ordeal. So I was getting a lot of anti-inflammatory intakes besides the tart cherry pills all along. However, it is a coincidence that the swelling and pain began to diminish a couple days after I began twice daily dosing with these tart cherry pills. I wasted no time in obtaining from my local supermarket Smart Juice Organic 100% Tart Cherry, which I desugarized via fermentation with water kefir grains that I purchased via Amazon.Even though my malady is now "resolved" (as described by my internist, who finally called it an adult parvovirus infection), I will continue taking a twice daily dose of (2) tart cherry pills and a 7 fl oz serving of homemade kefir cider (either tart cherry, pomegranate, or black mullberry). That is because I am age 62 with osteoarthritis. Moreover, my lifestyle is fraught with inflammatory physical activity: sprint interval training exercise regimen, plus mountain biking.Must confess that my rating of 4 stars is based on assumption, "faith" (no concrete evidence), general good practice, and its low price. It certainly causes me no harm-- that I'm absolutely certain of.

Slows progression of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Tart cherry contains a tanin that reduces inflammation and helps with pain, but regular ingestion of tart cherry also slows progression of RA. My maternal family is riddled with RA - My mother, sister, & I also. My aunts do nothing, but my mother (on the advice of an old german lady) started eating tart cherries in her 50s, just as her fingertips were starting to twist, 12 per night from an orchard, and she found the pain subsided. Soon though, she began to dislike the taste of tart cherries and tried to quit, but the pain came back in days -- she went back to the cherries. Now nearly 80, my mothers' fingertips are almost straight and she can still barber hair as she always has -- crooked fingertips and pain would have ended her career by her 60s without the cherries. Knowing my mothers; experience, I planted a tart cherry orchard so that I would have a steady supply and got on the cherry train. When my tart fruit runs out, I use a supplement -- these product is powder in a large gel cap, I prefer a tablet, but the result is the same. My sister, now in her fifties, has done nothing to address her RA -- her hands are UGLY. Her fingertips ALL veer off SHARPLY to the left and/or right now, and she complains of constant pain -- she just likes to be miserable I think, because she sees that my fingers are just as straight as ever and I have very little pain, she knows our mothers' experience, but prefers to have people feel sorry for her. I don't feel sorry for her at all.

Size is fine but they didn’t work for me
I have a torn lateral and interior meniscus. Walking kills me, and the stairs, and driving- when I have a flair up. I use tart cherry juice (1-2 cups a day) and I have ZERO pain. I started taking pills though cause that was getting expensive. The last brand I used worked wonders- 2000mg and I took one pill a day. I didn’t have pain for months, until 1-2 weeks after I ran out. Unfortunately it’s not available anymore so I tried these, but they’re not cutting it. The dosage is much lower so I’m taking 2-4 pills daily, and even after two weeks I was still in pain. I bought the actual juice and felt better before I finished the 1 liter bottle (4 days). So, I’m not impressed and won’t be buying these ones again. Maybe I’ll take double the pills just to finish the bottle.Good size and no taste, easy to swallow. Just didn’t cut it for me personally.

IT WORKS......GOUT IS OUT !
I have been using this brand of Tart Cherry extract along with 1300 mg extract capsules of RENEW ACTIVES Turmeric Curcumin for the last 5 months or so and have not experienced any more acute GOUT attacks since. Inflamation & Joint pain overall is literally down to none. I've stopped taking any synthetic medication for gout, arthritis and even for cholesterol as the combination of both extracts have been miracle workers in my health status :)

Misleading labelling 250 mg capsule Not 1000 mg
Misleading and false advertising on the product label. They advertise 1000 mg 120 caps. They are only 250 mg capsules. Buyer beware.

Misleading Label. NOT 1000mg !
Caveat emptor. The label says 1000mg. What the label doesn't say clearly is that to get 1000mg one has to take 4 capsules! The label should read 250mg. The description "4:1 QCE" is cryptic. The product itself might be OK, but its misleading labeling is not.
