These are an excellent set of precision nippers, for styrene model kits. Single edge provides a flush cut when removing parts from sprue. We’ve tried them out, and were very pleased with the results. Top quality, and a great value for the money spent. Highly recommended. Cheers 🍻 ~ Rob

TLDR; They're great. At $12 it's a no-brainer. After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way. Definitely Recommended.

I just recently started getting into building Gundam models and these were the first tool I bought. So far they have been working absolutely great. I’m currently working on my 3rd model and they are cutting everything with ease. So if you’re just getting into models, these are a great choice. The price on these is incredible and they are so so worth it!

I want to temper expectations and state that this is by no means a replacement for a Godhand SPN-120. That being said, you get something that is VERY workable for the price you get. For people who only like to cut and assemble, this will provide a nicer finish than your beginner's nippers. For those who want to cleanly clear the nubs off of pieces, you will still need to do some MINIMAL sanding with a glass file, or shaving with a hobby knife. For those who are looking for a Godhand...Just get the Godhand. For those who ALREADY have a Godhand, you may want to get this as a secondary nipper. Hot take: I still use both a Godhand and starter nippers together (2-cut method). I use the Stedi either on kits I am not as invested in, or as a sacrificial tool for clear parts (as clear pieces can in-fact damage godhands). Its the perfect in-between tool depending on the project. All in all, whether you want to upgrade from starter nippers, or already have a Godhand, or dont even have nippers to begin with, the Stedi has a versatile place and purpose.

Title. So I actually left a 5-star review for Godhands (the expensive one), and they worked quite well, except... the blade bent a bit from dropping it (on carpet, but they still bend). I got these thinking "oh well, I can use these as first-cut if they suck" and WOAH BOY. THESE CUT BETTER THAN GODHANDS THEMSELEVES. No joke. The cuts are cleaner. I have way less cleanup I have to do with these over my slightly bent Godhands, and I'm pretty sure they cut just as well as when my Godhands were unbent. For $13, these are ABSOLUTELY absurd. They definitely have stiffer springs and have slight ergonomics issues (the metal joints are a bit pokey and I sanded it down using a diamond rod sharpener and they're perfect now) but man, the performance. I'm sure they won't last as long as the Godhands, but considering I can buy F I V E of these every time a Godhands break, I don't see why you won't just keep getting these and cycle out the sharpness. 5/5, absolutely phenomenal, I'd buy these for any friends that are remotely considering getting into the hobby. They're that good. Built several models with these and they're still chugging along.

I previously used the Bandai Spirits Entry Nipper, which is fine, but this stedi Model Nipper is on another level. It allows for much more precise and clean cuts, making model building much easier. I also really appreciate that it comes with a spare spring and a cover. This is a fantastic tool for building models and has helped me make my Gunpla kits look much better.
