I’ve been using the SmallRig Lightweight NATO Top Handle (4345) with my Panasonic S5 II and SmallRig cage, and it has been a great addition to my setup. It makes handheld shooting much easier, especially for low-angle shots and when moving around during church productions. The quick-release NATO system is one of my favorite features — I can slide it on and off quickly without tools, which makes switching setups fast and convenient. The handle is very lightweight but still strong, easily supporting my fully rigged camera without any flex or issues. The grip is comfortable and secure, thanks to the silicone design, so I can hold the camera for long periods without fatigue. I also like the multiple mounting options — the built-in cold shoes and threaded holes make it easy to attach a microphone, monitor, or light directly to the handle. Build quality is solid, and it feels like it’s built to last. Even with regular use, everything stays tight and secure, and the handle still looks and performs like new. Overall, this is a simple, reliable, and very practical upgrade for any cage setup. If you’re running a Panasonic S5 II or similar rig, this top handle is a great addition for better control and flexibility.

This was great value for the price. It mounts easily to my cage, even though from another manufacturer. It feels great in the hand to carry or capture creative shots. It’s well designed to handle various accessories and to carry by hand. The size is great to handle accessories without throwing off the balance of the rig.

I have three of these handles. They're comfortable, well built, and have many different accessory mounting points. Holds well to the rail once mounted and I've had no issue or insecure feeling once everything is locked down. Definitely a great value.

This handle does its job well. It’s solid, well built, and feels good when holding the camera. The size is compact and lightweight, which is great if you want to keep your setup small. Just keep in mind that you’ll need the proper adapter to mount it. Without it, you won’t be able to install it, so make sure you have that beforehand. The quality is good overall, and while accessories like this can be a bit pricey, this one feels worth it.

Well built. Easy to get on and off thanks to the Nato rail. Great value and fits my hand perfectly. Combined with a cage it gives you multiple mounting options and adjustments.

Very sturdy and lightweight, was a life saver when it came down to holding heavy equipment. The grip on it is very firm and everything was great down to the price.

Muy bueno. Recomiendo esto para cuando debe soportar gran peso como una cámara en su cage y su rig + otras cosas como pantalla, v mount, follow focus, etc. Con NATO es mucho mejor.

The handle was an original SmallRig. These are excellent quality. I do not find the NATO grip as smooth to put on and takeoff as Arca-Swiss but it is smaller. The handle can be mounted forward or backward but only one end has an ARRI mounting point. So if you want to use that for a monitor the handle must point towards the person.
