It slides around easily but a keyboard on it usually holds it down. It's really thin and holds its shape when something heavy makes an indent on it. It returns its shape in several minutes. It's easy to clean and waterproof. I wouldn't buy it again but it makes a decent mat for like a glass mouse pad on top. I mostly use it for the base mat on my desk, then put other mouse pads on top of it. This thing was so cheap when I bought for $5 that I use it as a coaster for my morning coffee.
