I have very expensive art work in my home and have purchased picture lights upwards of $300. It is so hard to find the right bulbs for those when they burn out so I thought I'd try an LED version. What do I have to lose at the price? Well, I am now thinking about trading out my other, more expensive picture lights for this version! I love that it has multiple settings and I LOVE the remote! If you are considering a picture light, I highly recommend this one!

Is bigger and a bit more "robust" than many of the less expensive lights. Remote works well. Because of our setup we can just leave the charger plugged in. We did try out the battery charge a few times and it seemed OK but not for hours on end. The light output is pretty good.. we're not trying to create daytime against our wall. We're just shooting for an "ambient" type of light.

I'm a fussy 80+ old engineer and I have to congratulate the designer and maker for a top quality product. I bought two. One for a 30 x 30 painting and one for 48 x 60 not knowing how large an area it could cover. It is great for the smaller painting but not long or bright enough for the larger one. I am returning the larger one wishing it had worked. It's very well thought out, easy to install, and works as stated. It's one of the few, or maybe only, similar sized units that can mount on the back of a painting's wooden frame rather than drilling and mounting on drywall or plaster. The battery strength indicator works well and the detachable magnetic mounting makes recharging easy.

Q: Has anyone found a similar but *brighter* so-elongated light?? This one lies on my mantle attempting to light a 42x36" photo. The light is just too weak -- but its stated 5 watts wasn't going to do much, granted. My photo also has two overhead but distant ceiling spots: overall, barely adequate. 40 watts (instead of 5) with a true outlet plug -- would have been perfect. 3.5 rating but rounding up because of the long length design and nice ability to use without mount. Happily, a direct line-of-sight is not necessary for the remote to work. Recharging will be a drag. Given recharging life, this will work best with 24x16 or smaller art only needing occasional modest light.

Beautiful light with a wide range of warm to cold white colors. I enjoy the timer fiction so I can fall asleep every night knowing the light will extinguish itself as I snore away

This picture light is high-quality and beyond my expectations. I wish it also came in gold to go over another picture in my bedroom. I realize gold may come in shorter links, but this would be the ideal size. Maybe they will get the message and make them in different colors. But this one does work perfectly over my picture that has a black frame. I leave it plugged in at all times and only turn it on when in the mood.
